OK guys I got the final word...the STRI intro deal is now over! No more orders will or can be accepted. The intro pricing is gone forever! Muwah ha ha ha

But have no fear I will have package deals at AMVIV (they just can't be as cheap) there was a HUGE response to these so unfortunately I couldn't hold the deal open as long as I wanted to.

Thank you everyone who ordered and I can't wait to see more pictures

I was trying beleive me I was. I am still working on it and I won't leave you out in the cold. I didn't realize it was going to end as sudden as it did. I thought I'd have some warning but I found out (by no fault of my own) that they were being offered lower than actuall cost...eek! So if they are available at this time in 52mm I will get them to you at the best deal I can even if it means losing out because I stick to my word.

I have my gauges now; thanks Emily Now I would like to know if anyone knows how much labor the average mechanic might take to install these? I'm not talking about me, but a real mechanic that I have to pay.

Sure it counts!

What did you have to do to tap into the oil system if you don't mind sharing? I've been asked to help out someone who bought the gauges and since I don't have the parts in front of me, any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

STRI makes an adapter oil block but I don't know if it fits.

I ordered my Defi BF gauges (oil temp and boost) them and couldn't be happier. I got a great price and fast shipping. Install was very easy and the gauges are amazing! I highly recommend them.
FWIW, I installed my oil temp sensor using a brass T off the oil pressure sender location (off the block by the oil filter housing).

That's what I was thinking as I have the promini gauge kit (boost + oil pressure) that uses a brass T fitting there as well.

I thought perhaps there was an easier way. Do you have the sepcs on the T-fitting? Where did you get it? And how much if you don't mind sharing?

You can also use a drilled oil drain plug that accepts the sensor. I know there is a thread here on NAM. It has part numbers for the MINI plug.
