I received my M7 strut bar yesterday but am unable to put it on until I get the use of a torque wrench. So I was sitting around bored, strut brace itching to be messed with and some left over vinyl from my stripes. Throw those three things together and this is what you get. I sat it in position for show.
The vinyl may not last long but like I said. I was bored.
Nice touch, if you're still bored tape off what isn't covered by the vynl, remove the vynl and paint in a matching high temp engine paint. That looks so sweet!

wat?! just use a small 3/8 drive wrachet and tighten it snug.
25-30lbs.
^^ ^^
I'm thinking that the torque is only 21 ft-lbs for the carriage plate bolts, but I'm working from memory. Hit with the ratchet and then when the T-wrench arrives check them, heck back them off and then retorque them - but don't wait - slap that thing on!!
Guess it won't go on my Alta CAI, sigh. I love my Alta CAI, but hate the red filter, I really wanted green, waaaaah.
Your strut graphics rock, regardless.

That's pretty slick! I never would've thought of doing that, but it looks great. How'd you get the M7 logo on the vinyl? Did you cut it in or is it a vinyl sticker?
