My DIY stripes!

I screwed up the first one and got a few bubbles because I only read the instructions half-*** and proceeded to take off the wrong liner. But it worked out fine, I just worked them out with a pin. The second one went on very easily. I did these dry.

Looks like you did a nice job ! Recovered from your mess-up pretty well, I'd say. And yes, doing them dry is easiest, if you ask me.

Are those white pinstripes ? They actually appear to be silver on my computer screen. Edit: Never mind, Mishka's post answered that question. Nice look, the chrome pinstripes !

Ready for your boot stripes next ???

Looks great!

I have the same bonnet stripes on Gromit, and am debating whether to get the boot stripes. IMHO, the black/chrome stripes seem to match the car better than black/white stripes since there is no white on my car, and the contrast with your PW is great.

I've been contemplating getting stripes on my PW vert....but I'm not so sure

I had been contemplating black with a red pinstripe. but I like the look of yours with the chrome pinstripe!

Very nice!

Thanks guys! The few little bubbles I had on the first one that I screwed up a little worked themselves right out in the sun. Now they both look really nice and flat.

They are the black stripes with chrome pinstripes from Aesthetic Creations. The whole thing took maybe an hour, most of which was getting them lined up properly. The actual putting them on was super quick. I think I'm going to do the boot stripes today!
