The main control box will control 1 spark plug for optimal performance on single exhaust vehicles. Easy installation and detailed instruction insures compatibility with most exhaust systems.
The kit includes control box with built-in activation button, a mini activation button, wiring harness and more. Please note the kit does not include the coil and spark plug needed for installation. Some vehicles require addtional parts."

only $199

do it
Not smart to do on a modern fuel injected car.

if its carburated and has a distributor with a single coil, then its fine.

i think the smokescreen kit would still be possible.

not too sure how it installs, but i know for sure the flamethrowers wont work.

besides, the smokescreen seems more useful. next time your tooling down the freeway and you blow past a trooper, now you have an escape route!

You have got to be kidding me.
I've saw a flame throwing contest at a Moab, Utah, car show. Thing is, the old cars are made of steel. Our MINI's plastic bumper covers would melt.

Spy Hunter

one of my personal favorites.

Now i just need to hire a semi truck to drive around with a ramp on the back so i can drive up into the back for refueling and a reloading of my onboard weapons.

I wish all cars would have that, it would probably stop idiots from smacking their doors into other cars, I always park as far as I can and in a corner if possible but you always find one moron who I think do it in purpose and will park a foot away from you and will smack his door into you.

I have mixed feelings about lambo doors. Until a minute ago, I thought it was gay on all cars. But, it would be something different and unique. I wouldn't put them on my car but some pics of those cars are pretty cool.

Here is a thought...Lambos don't even have Lambo doors anymore. It is now just another tuner trick to make your civic stand out.

If it doesn't make a car go faster or stop better it is not needed! And YES, the bonnet stripes do make the car go faster!

And it works.

I'm getting a local shop to install mine. We may end up shaving my doors and putting bumpers on them although then there wouldn't be anything to grab ahold of from the outside.

We are one of the few vehicle that this kit would work good on. We have a huge handle on the inside of the door to grab ahold of and a decent place on the outside to grab ahold of.

no offense....but the body colored dash is the exact same thing. And yet you ordered one.The bright flashy dash is something that is very big in the tuner/sport-compact show crowd and is meant to get judges' attention and look cool. "It doesnt make it faster and it is not needed". So what point are you trying to make? Sounds like you are a bit confused

and in terms of lambos with lambo doors: "Lamborghini chose to keep the signature scissor doors exclusive to the V12 models, as it has done since the Countach when they were first introduced." So, the gallardo may not have it....but the murcielagos still have them. So how can you say lamborghinis don't have lambo doors anymore?

Damn the nay-sayers! If you like the look and have the means then go for it!

I plan to do this MOD just as soon as I buy out my lease. Who cares about resale value or anything like that? I know I'll likely be driving my car till it explodes. Gives me something to look forward to in a few years, and if my passion for the MINI has cooled by then, well, I saved myself a few grand.

NOTE that when I've seen the LSD doors in the past, I was able to get in and out of the car (gingerly) without having to swing the doors upwards... they open OUT first and only swing up after they're open about 30 degrees (IIRC). Good thing - since the windows auto-roll a bit when oening and closing, if they didn't open out first then the seal wuoldn't work properly.

Anyone out there have access to a body shop's tools and talents? The install calls for a fairly small cut in the fenders (to allow the hinge to have proper clearance) as well as the grinding down of the OEM hinge pins. The resivours under the bonnet under the windsheild need to be relocated as well, but that doesn't look TOO hard...

Oh and I too LOVE that bonnet mount. Wonder if there's any safety drawbacks...

PS - sorry for the necro-post but someone PM'd me about this and I thought I'd resurrect this or let it die again - it's up to you guys.
