Advice on glovebox organization

I'd like to organize my glovebox in order to keep the ipod from rolling around and wondered what other's find to be the best solution on the market (I see there are a number of alternatives). Note, other than ipod, owner's manual, and sunglasses, I don't expect to keep much in there.

Thanks in advance.

I think the most recommendations will be for the MINI Cooper Glovebox Tidy. http://www.gominigo.com/. I have one an am very pleased. It is designed so that you can also cool items in the space below.

OH YEAH IT WILL! Well, this forum will, this particular thread not so much. Glove box organizers are only about $25.

OK I really feel the need to bounce this back to the top. I recently purchased a GBT and can say to those not sure that you can buy with confidence from gominigo.

I should have taken some pictures but you can just go to his website. It's very informative.

First the package arrived within a week of initial contact with Alan. Very quick to respond and answered all of my questions.

Second the item was packaged so securely that there was never a chance of any damage occuring to the GBT unless somebody flattened the box itself. Very nice!

Third, the item was much sturdier than I imagined. Very helpful in organizing the glovebox. But the fit and finish were amazing. It fits SNUGLY into the box. This means no moving or shifting from the GBT while cornering:wink, wink:.

I am very satisfied with this item and would be comfortable recommending this product to other Cooper owners. Great product aand service.

Thanks Alan.

I got a glovebox organizer from Moss back in '03...I've always preferred the fit and finish of it (I like the finished edges), but perhaps the OEM one is similar (wasn't available in '03). If I were to give advise, I'd say seek out and procure items for your glovebox that fit it well...it does have it's odd contours/recesses. I have an eyeglass holder that fits perfectly in the eyeglass recess, a CD case that fits perfectly...you get the idea. Seeking out and finding specific stuff that works well in the MINI glovebox is not only fun but, over a period of years, has proven to have been time well spent, making motoring all the more pleasurable. Same goes for detaining supplies in the boot, but that's another story.

If you go with a glovebox organizer, you might want to consider fabricating a drawer to go with it. It might not help with the Ipod, but is great for keeping smaller items from rolling around.

Here's a link to another post with some details of a drawer I made for the GloveBoxTidy.
