It's ok Cody...but there's no way around getting rid of the reflector...that's what focuses and aims the bulbs energy In this case, chrome is great...in fact, if the chrome could be "perfect" and was able to aim/reflect 100% of the light from the bulbs, the lamps would likely be twice as bright...

I did them with the help of my boyfriend. Like you said...I wouldn't want to do it again. We actually baked them in the oven with bricks. (to retain the heat.)
