about 200 bucks, thats all!

i had a set of the EBay ones for a while on my MC before i sold it, top notch quality and less than half the price of the factory scam ones.

Are you reffering to the replicas that can be found on eBAY? Those are the only "aftermarket" clear taillights that i have ever heard of. And i would be interested in hearing about the replica's quality ($50 is way better than 300)

There are other non-clear aftermarket options....but they all tend to look like the rear exhausts of an alien spaceship and would only aid in creating a "look-at-me" style as opposed to a nice clean look.

you always have to wonder HOW they are able to sell that low. But if they are good quality....might as well get them

I'm interested in hearing the thoughts too.

i had one problem, i put a harline crack in the black part of one side by overtightening them

other than that, they have the same dot stamp the factory ones do (lol)

if i didnt tell you, you wouldnt ever know the difference.

i think the install kit is wiring that makes the bulbs light up a bit brighter if im not mistaken. And its not fully required

There's absolutly no difference, both are DOT approved. BUT..... Only the OEM comes with bulbs(which look bluish and come up as blue in the Mini parts catalog) and the Aftermarket does not. And let me just say, that it is a pain to find good brake light bulbs that are RED. The OEM bulbs are at $13.50..... A PIECE!!!! AAHHHH!!!! thats about the only difference, pay $300 and get OEM bulbs with them, or pay $50 and pay $30 for OEM bulbs afterward. You pick
