Sooooo much work for such little gain (imo). Before I set my valve to permanent open and parked remote in glove box, I was very content with it in the foam insert in the driver side cupholder. Have no need for cupholders since there is no food or drink allowed in my Mini by anyone ever (including She Who Must Be Obeyed.) Looks nice in the above pixs. Just seems like lots of work for very small aesthetic.

Felt like moving the remote so I grabbed a Maglite "C" cell mounting bracket ($7 for 2 Grainger) and fastened to the unused buttons near the lite switch using a cold melt glue gun.
Was at the car wash place and this happened. I have goulasc’s holder but i keep my remote with my keyfob. When they handed my keys back, the bottom cap is missing. Dealership sells the replacement for $260. Anyone else encounter this with a cheaper solution?
I just upgraded my 2016 JCW F56 hardtop to JCW Pro exhaust. Dealer had different prices (lower now) $950 (B46) and $1450 (B48). My JCW is a B48 engine (vin verified) but the dealer priced me the B46 version based on parts look up. (Mini of Stevens Creek - San Jose). No ECU tune required. Labor was quoted 5 hrs, but I showed them service bulletin saying 3 hours, so they only charged me $300 to install. If buy from dealer, labor is $100 per hour. Tips are extra...
