I hate to do this because I love these seats but with a wedding coming up soon and an unsure fitment in my Countryman, these are for sale. These are 100% authentic, OEM, European JCW Recaros. Heated, airbags, and the occupancy sensor is already included in the passenger seat. They are the leather version. These bolt up and plug into the connectors for the R56.
These are in great condition. There is slight wear on the driver side from just getting in and out of the car. My asking price is pretty firm. These sell for $2,399 a seat new and very few places carry these. If I can't get a serious buyer, they are going into the Countryman!
If you would like more detailed photos, please PM me.

I don't have really any interest in trading at this point. Thanks for the offer, however. And I am not 100% sure on the fitment for R53.

Do you have them boxed and weighted for shipping? I'm interest. I would have them picked up by FedEx or UPS but need my total cost.

They are a minor mod/bolt in swap in an R53. Depending on the year you might need to worry about the passenger weight sensor. The ad says it has one, but it might have been added as the usually don't come with them from the factory. If you use the R56 seat brackets these were designed for, you'll have to modify the seatbelt mount as they are slightly different, and the buckles aren't compatible between R56 and R53.Originally Posted by VehiGAZ

You can use R53 seat mounts and not worry about the seat belt part, but the cable mechanism attachment is different will have to be modified to have the seat slide forward using the release on the back of the headrest.
Most people cut and splice the wires/connectors, but I dis-assembled mine and re-used the R53 connectors so they look factory with no splices. Also, the heated seat controllers are different since the control is on the seat on the R56 JCW's, and under the console or dash on the R53. I haven't hooked up my heated seats yet.
There are a few threads on NAM and other forums for installing R56 seats in an R53, and member Orange Crush's JCW install thread includes adding the passenger weight sensor to the JCW Recaros.
Also, if you're tall, the JCW Recaro's sit about an inch higher than the Factory R53 seats at the lowest settings.

I am interested in your GP2 seats, which would then give you the funds needed to buy these JCW Recaros. Check your pm, maybe we can work it out? Originally Posted by Saovalle

It's an open offer to any GP2 owners out there
Wow. That's a lot of pms. Right now I have a person that said they are committed to buying them next weekend. However, if something happens with that sale, I will get back to everyone about the seats.

Bump for sweet seats. We've only had one car through here with them. If you're on the fence, git 'em.
