After market wiper blades

So what company makes a wiper blade that fits this funky fitting??
The OEM blades are a giant P'sOS!! Free or not, I dont want them on my car any longer!! Mine are only 8 months old and they perform like they are 8 years old!

Free is free and they're not that bad! If they start streaking, get new ones, for free, from the dealer!

Did I mention that they are Free??

Yes the stock wiper blades are free while under the maint plan.

But I switched mine to the Piaa blades and they work so much better.

Are the PIAA blades in the picture the "actual" ones that fit our cars? I just dont see how the standard fittings work with our MINI's!!??

Replace your wiper blades more often. They all work like junk after 8 months.

Mine's stuffed after 5 months. Shudders and squeaks like she's a ten year old car. I've seen on a mate's R56 PIA replacement wipers and they are better looking than the link posted above. Looks way better than oem as they have some sort of cover over them, kinda like the ones on BMW 5ers. Let me dig into the PIA site.

I have always used Rain-X latitudes on my previous cars with much success! I went two years with my last set before they were to the point my wipers are at now.
What I would really like, is someone to chime in with how I attach non-OEM wipers to this car???? I have never owned a car with such a funky attachment! Everything from my Audi's to my Jeeps have all been a universal fitting! I have searched the web to no avail!

Anyone. . .
Bueller. . .
Bueler. . .

I used to have PIAA blades on my R53 and loved them. I'm still on the free ones on my CM and haven't had a problem. Then again, I live in New Mexico where it hardly ever rains.

I was wondering what you meant by "funky attachment", so I went and looked. You're right, it's definitely odd. Never seen one attach like that before.

Also consider getting some Aquapel with your new wipers. It'll prolong their life and reduce your need for them.

Yes the ones pictured on our website are the actual PIAA blades. There is just a small plastic clip that snaps them onto the MINI wiper arm, but I've installed several sets of these and they fit fine and work even better.

Thanks everyone!
y8s: I'll look into that product! CO uses mag chloride on the roads at the first sign of snow. It coats everything on your car, and is hell to get off the windshield!

So I went out and bought some rain-x latitudes today. Sure as s*** there was an attachment to snap on for our cars. I think this the fifth or sixth set of these I have bought, and have never had had special bracket with them! My windshield is happy again.

I have used Bosch Icons on a couple of vehicles and always found them to be above average. I took a quick look at the fitment guide from Bosch and it only lists size 18A for the front left side but no right one.
