Interior/Exterior LED Fog Light DRL's from OutMotoring
I ran the wires on the right of the headlight (underneath) then near the battery there is a ruuber soft moulding for the hood and where it ends on the left there is space to run the wire in between. I hope that makes sense.
Just because you get away with it doesn't make it legal. Many run red lights and get away with it. The laws are not enforced as they should be and people are doing whatever they want. Yes, you are able to drive with any lights but that doesn't make it OK. A fellow worker got a ticket for driving with parking lights so it's possible to get noticed. Expensive too. With the depression and governments looking for extra funding, it's even more possible.

Also I'm having a heck of time finding acceptable or proper use of lights, more specifically use of fog lamps or auxiliary lights for California, where it limits the use only during inclement weather. Mind linking me? All I can find are code restrictions, colors, placement, number of lights etc.

Alright, so I just finished doing the installation. Anybody else having a problem with brightness? They are awesome and both very bright when they are the only light on. However, with the xenons turned on the passenger side is noticeably more dim....to be honest, I wish they were both that dim. As soon as I turn the headlights off, back to both being bright.
Also, the fitment for the fog lights themselves aren't matching up. I may need to grind down the metal part of the bulb socket so that I can get it attached correctly. Anyone else have a fitment issue with the center fog light?
They do look cool though, and I'm anxious to see them in the daylight tomorrow! They will definitely be able to replace leaving the headlights on for DRL. Very, very bright

EDIT: Found that one of my connections got loose so that my left side wouldn't dim. Connected it up and now they both dim perfectly for when the xenons are on

just finished led install
I just finished installing the led lights from outmotoring. just to clear up some f the chatter in this thread about when they are on or not: the leds replaced your parking light so they are on whenever your parking lights would be on. if you have not programmed your key for DRLs then the leds will be on when you turn on your parking lights OR when you turn on your headlights OR when you are programmed for DRL which normally turns on both headlight and parking light but with the leds installed only the led/parking light will be on and it will be brighter than if you have headlights on or parking light only on. The fog light functions as normal thru toggle on dash.

I'm probably very wrong, but I thought lights were bidirectional. Mine are very bright at first but as soon as I turn on my DRL's from the light stalk (first click over) they dim down and never flicker. I keep them at this level at all times.
Diodes are polarity sensitive.
How do I reverse my polarity back to normal? Would switching the lines to the battery do the trick?

No. the polarity is reversed at the plug that connects the parking light plug to the male plug in the led unit.

That's what fixed mine, they should be on (bright) when your car is running and dim down when you turn on your parking lights or headlights.
After doing my install and reviewing this thread and two sets of instructions from the manufacturer I have the following to contribute. When I first did my install ONE of my lights was super bright and flickered when first turned on. I revered the polarity on the plug from the car to the led (it sits in the hole in the unit and looks like the connector of a bulb) and NOW both lights are bright when in drl mode and dimmer when headlights on or can be turned on from stalk to parking light setting.

When I installed them, I noticed that the connectors that emulate the bulb ends have '+' and '-' painted on them. I just made sure that the brown wire side of the city light socket was connected to the '-' side of the connector and all went well.
Mine dim down nicely and there's no flickering at all when I have the stalk in the first or second position (DRL position or xenons on...NOT the default everything off position). However, initially when I start the car there is a fair amount of flickering and they don't stay on consistently until I turn the stalk. Is that normal or still the polarity?
"New" problem with the LED DRLs from Outmotoring
When in DRL mode (programming) switch off/on when come to a stop MOST of the time. When stopped switch off/on whenever I turn steering wheel sharp left or right. Must have something to do with power surge at battery when applying brakes (especially with 3rd brake light pulsar) or electric steering power draw. Aaron at Outmotoring is looking into it. Otherwise work great and dim when turning on headlights or parking lights. Anyone else noticed this? Best to observe when you can see reflection in the vehicle ahead of you.

Can those who have experienced issues with flickering while stopping or turning, etc list their year and if they have the Xenon lights or standard, etc?
