After having to wait for three weeks after my car´s last visit to the dealer, I finally had time to install the Union Jack decal. It looks really good and was lucky enough to get professional help installing it


BTW: I want to thank everyone with the help explaining me how install it.

I want to install a decal on my sunroof, but those bavarian thieves of BMW in Mexico wants to get rich with every single piece they sell you.

MiniMexico, have you checked out Cooper Flags? I'm not sure if they can ship to Mexico, but they do carry a range of flags and designs pre-cut for MINIs with sunroofs.

I'm gonna ask them if they can print a design on static vinyl in order to put the decal on my sunroof and remove it when I want

Minimexico, they guy that installed my decal has a print shop and a small business dedicated to printing and installing decals (outdoor advertising, signs, etc.)

I can give you his contact info, maybe he can do a design for you (he told me he uses the same material the expensive BMW decal is made of)

Only problem is that he is in Puebla, I just happened to be lucky enough that he was in Mexico City that day

 

thanks man! , I do appreciate your concern!, but I've just bought (from cooperaccesories) a Union Jack made out of static cling vinyl and it covers only the sunroof; so I can put it on and off at will. oh! and it was really unexpensive (55 bucks) they don't ship to Mexico, but anyway I'm going to Austin next week.

MiniMexico!

I just received my sunroof UJ decal yesterday! Since it came rolled up in a tube, I've unrolled it and placed objects on each corner to smooth and straighten it out before installing, per YuccaPatrol's recommendation. I cannot wait to install the UJ on my all-Jet Black MCS!!!! Pix to follow after installation!! YAY!!

Please post pics of the car. Never seen a black roofed car with the UJ. I bet it looks very bold
