New stripes for my MCS

Finally got around to putting my stripes on my Mini. I printed these off at work a few weeks ago and today it was nice enough to bring the car to my parents house to use their garage. I went with the OEM style but instead of doing a white stripe w/ a black pinstripe I put a slightly metallic silver pinstripe instead to accent the chrome/silver wheels. They came out very good and I'm very happy with them. I work with vinyl every day at my job so installing wasn't a problem. Also have my winter setup on - Tirerack steel wheels with ExtremeWinterContacts. I also put a photoshop version of my car at the end of how I'd like it to be next year I dropped it and put some Rota MC's on it.

Thanks people. The best part is if I ever get sick of them or feel like changing colors I can print off pretty much whatever color I want and change it up (or if I wanted to change styles ie. "shelby" style stripes down the middle, etc.)

I might do them in the spring. I don't want to debadge the 'Cooper S' yet but I'll do that in the spring probably and match the stripes up. Boot stripes are real easy to do so it won't be a problem. Thinking about getting some perforated white vinyl to cover the sunroof too but I have to find a good source.

GO SOX!!
The vinyl on the roof is a great idea....I have a black roof, and I keep on debating putting perf-vinyl on the roof (just black or maybe a flag) to cut down on direct sunlight and glare...been using a zippie shade...good product, but a pain to take down when I want to open the sunroof.
Good to see the stripes go over the clear bra ok. And again, the silver edges look great IMO...amazing that nobody offers them for sale!!

I actually lucked out - I mentioned to my manager my idea for my sunroof and he showed me a roll of the white perforated vinyl we got in a while ago by mistake (nobody ordered it) and we've just had hanging around. Cut off a good size piece (total sunroof comes out to around 31"x50" or so if I remember right) and I'll put that on this weekend. Also found some blue vinyl that matches my car pretty well so I cut some 70" long x 5" wide stripes that I am going to run down the roof to sort of mimic/reverse the hood stripes. Won't have the silver on the edges but not a big deal. Last step will be the boot stripes.

Glad you like it

Looks great. The stripes were removed from my car when the bonnet was refinished last year. I still haven't decided what kind of stripes I'd like to put back on it...but this certainly looks great!

I don't suppose you have an "extra" set of stripes (same as yours) you'd be willing to sell? I'm looking for the bonnet & boot stripes only....
