I am thinking about getting this MOMO shift **** (link:http://store2.yimg.com/I/ltbmotorsport_1753_15342947) for my MCS. What do you guys think. Whoud it be as low as the stock ****? Also, if you know of a ball type **** that you think looks better, please show me. I would like all the feedback that I can get.

Now after reading the forums some more, I am thinking about getting a Whalen shift **** with my initials engraved in the top. I would still greatly appreciate feedback on both *****. I would also like to hear engraving ideas that any of you have for a Whalen ****.

My Whalen shift ****:

His stuff is top quality.

Here in the Arizona heat, it is 100 times cooler in my hand than the stock ****.

Here's the writeup so you can see how easy they install.

Looks nice, but it will lengthen the throw. So does the Whalen.

You can find the Whalen **** at http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/home.htm.

I got one of the standard MINI designed shown on the web site, and it lowered the shifter about 1/4" (simply because it is a little smaller in diameter than the original).

It weighs 18 oz., which helps for smoother shifts.

If you do a seach, there is a lot of discussion on the boards about the shifters. IMHO, you can't go wrong with Doug Whalen and his shifters. He is great to work with, and does custom work.

I too like the looks of the ****, but this one is plastic, not stainless steel, like Whalens' usual offerings. Would not a stainless steel **** be even worse that the stock one in terms of heat?

AZMINI, that queball is the coolest shift **** I have seen to date! I liked it so much I contacted Whalen to see if they will do one for me, still waiting to hear back from them.

If heat is your issue (like it was with me) don't go stainless or chrome.
I got a nice CF **** and am now palm-blister free.

Love my Whalen! I was concerned about the longer throw... but it is not noticable at all! Neither in looks nor action. The weight of the **** makes shifting extremely slick.

Godspeed.
