Removing 3M Hi-Strength Spray Adhesive 90 from leather?

Anyone know how to remove 3M™ Hi-Strength Spray Adhesive 90 from leather upholstery? I was installing Redline armrests and got some adhesive on the front surface.

You can try the 3M adhesive remover but try an unseen area to be sure it's color safe , I got some on a shift **** cause I had it on my hands and had to move a car and it cleaned it off just had to retreat the leather

I called around and nobody has 3M Adhesive Remover. The 3M store says, "Restricted in California".

Goo Gone says not to use it on leather.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Bestine rubber cement thinner? I've used that on all kinds of adhesives.I'd practice on a hidden piece of the leather first though.

Thanks everyone. I managed to get it off with a little spit and a lot of rubbing with a paper towel. At the end, a brush removed the last little bits down in the leather texture. This was the kind of brush you use for scrubbing your hands. I was careful not to damage the leather surface -- first tried it on an area that didn't show.

I wonder why it is restricted -- toxic, or eco-unfriendly?

Most likely either toxic or very flammable.

I'm not sure if the product I used will remove the spray adhesive mentioned in this thread, (I am inclined to believe it will) however, due to my having ran into a similar problem with Multi-Purpose Spray Adhesive by Elmer's and finding no internet solutions, I remembered that when I had done my own hair extensions I needed a way to remove the glue later without damaging my hair.

WeaveRX has a organic product called "Root Stimulator Ultimate Bond Remover." Tagline" Removes Glue NOT Your Hair!" It can be purhcased in 4 fl Oz or larger at Sally's Beauty Supply. It costs about $5 here on the West Coast.

I used a whilte tshirt and in only 1 minute removed every trace of adhesive glue that had landed on the chair. The leather chair is actually shinier after having used this organic product blend on it and smells like oranges. The smell kind of reminds me of that hand cleaner auto mechanics stock in their shop to remove grease from oily mechanic hands.

Ingredients:
Water, Mineral Spirits, Coconut Oil, Mineral Oil are the first four ingredients followed by a few preservitiives and coloring. Product is light yellow.
