Looks great, but not for $400 imo.

I was thinking the exact same thing...

Especially since they're advertising it as an affordable alternative to carbon fiber. Plus, you have to send the dash pieces in.

^ True. My worry is this stuff not matching the JCW cf i already have on the car since its the real deal. If it was a close match id consider it i suppose. All i can find is Red cf pictures on that page. Any pics of regular CF look

Essentail Mini in the UK has carbon fiber pieces for almost all the interior parts. Real Carbon Fiber. Someone here bought the outside door handles from them and said that it matched the JCW stuff perfectly. I'm buying those to go with alot of JCW carbon fiber on the outside so we'll see.

If it does match I'm going to carbon fiber my entire interior (which would be about $4000)

Looks great to me. I don't know that the $400 is out of line for something like that, but I have to admit it would be hard driving without my dash for a few weeks!

Check this page for Black CF pics.

I would love to see pics of their wood finishes if they had any. I'd pay 400 for a wood dash

Ohhhh you're right.....that would suck. I assumed the 400 included new dash pieces which would make the price more reasonable.

Anyone know the process they're using? Looks a lot like the one that someone else posted where they're dipping the piece into a solution that has the design on the top.

EDIT: this is the place i was talking about: http://elegantwooddesign.com/index2.html

I would love to be able to do this myself. I talked to coopergear and I do like their stuff. I am thinking/planning on buying some of their stuff, but I always love it when I can do it myself.

RallyMINI- Nice sig! That's sweet.

I wouldn't say they're new...they've been advertising in their sig for free for some time. They just were asked to pay up, that's all.

I do dig the red CF....if I didn't have the JCW leather dash, I'd buy it

Go for it! Easier and cheaper than most of the wheel swaps you've done. The leather dash should be relatively easy to sell, depending on price.

I also think that Leather dash > CF applique (not that the stuff above is bad)

Also, if this Was Not on a exchange basis, id be interested. Like charge a core and then send the cores back for reimbursement (like what MinSpeed does) But like someone already stated, i dont want to drive around without a dash for days or weeks.
