Removing door panels for painting...

i just removed my door panels for painting. My cousin did my dash and now he is going to tackle my door ovals....here is some beginning pics of this project...

no i did not break anything..going with hyper blue....i will post some pics when done he said maybe this weekend they would be done...

Painted interiors usually turn out well, however, moderation is key. Getting it painted at an autobody shop right? The results of which will be simply stunning. A can of Krylon on the other hand...

Just saw your other thread about your dash...heh heh, autobody shop it is then.

Part II

One door panel painted and ready to be put back on the door...the other panel had a spot that my cousin is buffing out...other one will ready for door on wednesday...here is the pic.....

I do not know if it would be too much, but have you thought about painting the A, B, and C pillars?

how easy is it to remove MINI door panels? are they held on with just a few screws and plastic retaining clips? I am tempted to remove mine in order to locate the source of a rattle triggered by stereo volume. May make my dealer do it under warranty if its tricky..
