Interior/Exterior Fender Vent
Are you talking about the side panel, also known as the "A-panel"? (The part that's checkerboarded on this pic from Aesthetic Creation's website):

If so, Realoem.com shows the same part number for the side panel whether the car is a Cooper or an 'S' (at least for the 2006 & 2004 models - I didn't check for every year), so any side panel that will fit one should fit the other.

Oh, the piece *immediately* surrounding the side marker. When he said "vent", I thought it was because he was considering getting one of the aftermarket vented A-panels.
Oh well, the part he's talking about will interchange between the Cooper and the 'S', since the A-panels are identical. Plus, there have been plenty of reports here of people putting the Cooper sidemarkers assemblies onto an 'S' as part of the "de-chroming" effort.

They fit just fine

They can be a pain to pop off, but just keep prying at em and they will come loose.

EVERYONE that does any sort of MOD to their car (interior or exterior) should spend $10 on a set of THESE...

They're so much better than any other type of tool when it comes to prying/levering/removing panels, clips or tabs that it's not even funny... Seriously - go out RIGHT NOW and get a set, before you spend another dollar on any other MOD. Plus, $10 is cheaper than many of the specialized fasteners that you'll end up breaking with a screwdriver (seriously), let alone having to deal with chipped paint and the like.

To remove them you should push OUT from the inside of the engine bay. They pop right off with a little bit of force. Once you remove them you'll see how they attach.
I think they are only $20 or so at the dealer. I chose to paint mine black and clearcoat them after I had them for a while and they began to fade.
