Hello Erin,

#12 is the center and its snap in and out. #8 is a little more work. See the link below for how to DIY.

Thanks ECST, we'll be sending a bunch of customers your way.

On a separate note, do you have any idea how to remove the center vent cover on the R60 Countryman? Does it just snap off and on? Is there a trick on how to properly remove it without damaging the piece or the clips?

Thanks ,

On the Mickey Speedo :

You can see here the back tabs. Work your way around. And make sure you unsnap the hazard button after you clip it out .

" The center speedo trim pops right off, but you have to watch the wires that go to the hazard button. You'll need to pop it off and then disconnect the wire from the switch. Start pulling at the bottom and work your way to the top. Then getting the switch off you need to squeeze both metal spring clips at the same time and push it out from the bottom. "

From that thread above.

We have trim removal kits that make things a little easier: There is a 5 piece tool and 11 piece tool kit.

Welcome,

Have not seen the that dash part removed yet looks like part of #11 which has those screws #7 holding it. Then #5 and #7 under #13 holing the front portion. I would think then that whole piece would come, out , just be careful and take your time. That's all the info I have.

Thanks

There are several rectangular slots on top of part #11 to receive the vent grill. Just can't figure out how exactly it connects. I don't want to break any of the tabs pulling it off the wrong way. If anyone has done this before, please chime in. Thanks.
