NOTE: maui just started their scca solo2 series and had a mini owner there. nice modded MCS in CSP class. hmmm.... don't MCS' go into DSP? oh well. he did pretty good. might have been top 5. looks like superlegerras for rims. painted aerokit...think i seen it before... also changed chrome to black for the grilles i guess to match the areokit plastic one. b

Do you recognize the driver of the DS MCS? It's our own Chris Powell, Skidpad God!

 

is that his (chris') own mcs? i thought he had a miata at the aloha 500.

 

Chris has a E28 533i track car and a E24 635csi on Maui. He is also one of the service technicians at BMW of Maui. That is why you see the BMW of Maui sign. Plus, they provide snacks and refreshments at the races.

As for the MCS, I have no idea whose car that is. It could be Bob Hoffman's as he did purchase one recently. Bob was the guy on our starting grid with the cowboy hat and purple shirt.

yeah, i saw that red mini. weird that it runs normal street tires vs the typical ao32r's and such. funniest thing was that curtis got 2nd overall with some rental car. haha. anyone wanna loan me a mini up there? the surface looks interesting. b
