I just got another kit in the mail today. Seems to be exactly the same as my first one; Awesomeness of Small book, glasses, magic window and decoder. Why the second kit? A glitch in the mailing list is my guess.

 

dohhh, I think I threw that decoder away... i didnt realize they were giving away stuff

So far I've only seen and heard that it's in the October issue of Car & Driver - page 71. I'm certain it will show up somewhere else..

So - I ordered my MINI on July 25th, still waiting for delivery (scheduled to hit the port in Charleston on the 14th...)

Does this mean that I won't get the black box? Did I just buy too late? I've been *so* looking forward...

 

I received a decyptor, 3-D glasses and a super-secret decoder. Using the decryptor the message reads "check out AsWeC-Fit.com. Follow the the instructions. I suppose now having divulged the secret I will be zapped by the MINI BOLT.

 

The second website appears to be down..........or is it "just my luck"

Double Arggggg.... I've tried 2 different browsers turned off all popup blockers and even the old website, C-FiT, and the MINI CC Config won't work either!

 

Unless I'm missing something. I'm going to the site that is spelled out on page 71, once the decoder is placed on it. :impatient

 

OK, I've just tried the lap top and both browsers on it also...still no luck. I'm clearly doing something wrong!

Are the Car & Driver ad and the MC2 ad the same ones with the same hidden message in it? I assume both ads are different than the first one I got out of the New Yorker magazine some months back? Right?

Just trying to get a sense of what issues lead to which ad... I assume there will be a total of 3 different ones when all is said and done, yes?

Smokey, I don’t know what the problem could be. I cracked the code and was there in less than 30 seconds.

 

on the insect page i obviously came across something that would have been useful for MINI takes the states... but is there something else on there?
If there is don't tell me where, just tell me to keep looking...
Picked up the C&D today at lunch time so I'll get on the second site tonight...

Finally got in today! Had to disconnect the router from the modem and plug straight into it. Worked like a champ, now I have to figure out what's up with the router and why only some websites, with varying URL's can't connect

And we better do it damn fast before the next ad campaign

 

Don't know if this has been posted, but it's always good to hear about free stuff. if you visit the minspy site, found it through motoringfile, and then click on the MINI gag, it'll ask for your VIN. once done, it tells you about a adventure toggle that they'll send you. quick, get it!!!
