i got my MINI kit a while back (I posted it somewhere), found the cheaters way to get my stuff. I have received the medallion, and the toggle switch cover thing. I don't know if it is related, but I received 3 stencils that say MINI parking only.. in 3 separate mailings.

I got my decoder schtuffs in the mail yesterday, so today I took a trip down to the library to try to decode the ads for real. They only had magazines with the last two ads, so I had to cheat for the first one.

Since they're still sending out the decoders with the new kit I'm hoping there's going to be some kind of follow up campaign.

 

It looks like one of those things you need to have a red film moire pattern thingy to view. Only light can be polarized. Ink is, by definition, the absorption of light... so it can't be polarized.

Isn't the picture thingy pointing at the spare key holder?

I got my MINI Confidential medallion in the mail today! That's pretty crazy schtuffs, doubly so since the proper website wasn't even working. (I found a .org version that did work.) Even if I did fall prey to an uber specific phishing scam, I got some schwag out of the deal.

 

SO can you still get the medallion or is it to late?
