It is absolutely stunning when clean. just need some racing stripes to finish it off...and then maybe some driving lights....and then....you get the picture. Absolutely NO car washes for mine.

The Sidewalk theme is awesome and an AB to boot. Looks like you haven't been doing much top-down motoring with that weather!

 

thanks! yeah, weather's been crappy and cold since I picked up the MCS. I've only had the top down a handful of times. actually a much better top up car than my M3 vert....looking forward to warmer weather.

 

I have an Astro Black Mini, picked her up in April. I love the blueish tinge to it, looked black in the show room and grey blue in the light. Loving it

i got my ab/w with white sport stripes on 4-1-08. i will be posting pics soon, but i wanted to wait till i get my aftermarket wheels on it. i love the color but wish it was easier to keep clean. one day after cleaning it looks dirty.

 

AB/AB seems to be pretty rare. WHen I went to order mine, there were only 2 in the country (both incoming on boats) that were AB/AB. The rest were AB/W

 

We actually didn't have time to wait the 3 month waiting limit and originally I wanted a Red one with a Black Rag Top (super sexy), but we arrived at the Mini Dealership and my wife picked this one car off the lot instantly and said what about this. At first I said "not another black car!" then I realized in the shade it had a bluish tint and we loved it! It gets compliments all the time!

I'm including a picture of it at the AMVIV - V this year... It was fun driving out the Vegas with the group...

I'm taking delivery next month...AB/AB MCS with silver bonnet stripes...something I've never seen. I hope it looks as good as I hope.

I also stuck with the Sidewinder wheels...a lot of people seem to upgrade but I REALLY like the Sidewinders...not an issue of money, just preference. I guess I'm odd.

Actually I think the tires are called 5-star rockets... They seem to be very popular. We didn't have a choice as the car was one on the lot, but I love them! They are very easy to clean too!
