Nice looking 2006 MCS 6-spd .... Like the leather...
This one should get snapped up quickly.
Good thing I'm not in Washington ... ha.
$7200
66K miles
Doesn't look like it needs much attention other than the normal stuff we all do to our 53's.

One Key only
ABS sensor on Front Right needs service.
TPMS sensors don't work
Coolant reservoir weeps (they all do if not replaced)
P.S. reservoir cap leaks
Owned since 2011... Claimed garage kept and looks it from the headlights and taillights (minimal fogging of plastic)

I see the potential, but I also see a lot of money being needed to bring it up to snuff.
Wheels are all curbed
Tires look like they're dusted
It has the trifecta codes ABS and TPMS. This could be an easy fix, or the DSC pump has **** the bed $$$$$
What's MINI getting for a get these days $300-400 plus programming
If they couldn't be bothered to fix the coolant and power steering leaks what else awaits under this car?

I hear ya...and those are the kinds of things that, once fixed, make the car a $12k-$15k+, lower mileage, BAT car.
Could be one of the best deals out there... could have some problems... or could just be a nice purchase at a fair price ... IMO.....

CC is a bit boring compared to BaT and C&B because lack of active community and the comment streams add much groovy juice excitement/information in my opinion.
CC is now doing USA auctions as well so I've been checking to watch for R53's.
*edit
one interesting aspect about this auction that I forgot to mention is how honest the seller is regarding a leak in the boot:
The vendor reports that there is a small leak in the boot, which is understood to be a common foible.
Just a reminder that even though a car may be low mileage like this 18k miles example, but they don't escape age-related perishability and certain things will have to be addressed even on such low milers.
I like the spec of this MCS because I'm a sucker for slicktops, but honestly I'd much rather have that GR Yaris behind it.
Speaking of the GR Yaris,
somehow D.DeMuro got his hands on one so I've been waiting for his review --- not exactly a fan of his but I've enjoyed what I've watched and I'm keen to hear how he rates it.

A new listing on Phoenix's east side below. Nicely optioned, priced right for 100k R53 these days and the ad seems legit: 2006 MINI Cooper S - $7,700 (Mesa)
