Blinder M27 sensor placement JCW

Hi guys and gals. Yes I have done some searches, but I probably could have done a better job. I am about to order a Blinder Lasor Intercepter (M27) for my 2016 f56 JCW. If you look at the picture it looks to me to be a perfect spot for the 2 sensors I'm getting. They would be placed in the front dams which are right next to the FMIC. I would really appreciate some feedback on these sensor locations. Again I'm only getting 2, and I know if I bought an extra one and placed it in the middle of the other 2 sensors, only 1-2' higher, but that means I would have to cut my grill which I really don't want to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Mike

Nobody can help me with this? How about who is a "Blinder dealer? The last one I bought there was only 1 distributer in the US. Anybody remember that guy? His name was Elvis? But we're talking 5-6 years ago. I know what some of you are thinking...use Google you idiot!! I will now do that. But I'm still looking for suggestions!!

I believe that cops are trained to shoot at the headlights so the closer to them the better.

I completely agree with you. In fact on my last "advanced certification" class ( I've been through 16 of them, it's required by my company yearly) it was run by x state patrols. I flat out asked one of them and that is pretty much exactly where they aim. The advantage I have is that if I placed the sensors where I indicated, it Should be covered because it's so close.

I don't know, I guess I'll goggle to find a dealer, and maybe they can shed some light on this. I've gotten the JCW over 140mph 5-6 times in the 9 days I've owned the car, but I have not yet hit the limiter, which is what....150? You get caught doing 140+, you might get lucky but they will most likely take you to jail and tow the car.

Hey Cerenkov I'm going off topic on my own thread, but I'm interested in your Helix FMIC. Are you happy with it, do you notice any HP change? Thanks.

Hi everybody I thought I would "bump" this thread to possibly get a few more opinions on my proposed placement of the two 2" sensors for the Blinder laser jammer I'm still waiting to buy. If you look at my first post you'll see a pic that you can enlarge to see where I would like to place the sensors. I have a '16 JCW. Now like someone else mentioned above the cops usually aim for the head lights. But the thing is the headlights are on a heavily slopped area on the hood, just like pretty much all Mini"s. So I'm thinking the best place to aim a laser would be on the flat section......right where the front plate is supposed to go. Well like a lot of us you can see I don't have a front plate, nor do I plan to have one.

So the question is if you look where I want to place the sensors, it should be the best place. Please keep in mind I do NOT want to cut my grill.

So what do you think? Will that placement work ok? Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
