Exhaust Depot - Pretty Sketchy?

I ordered from them on Oct 14 and it's coming up on three weeks and the only communication I have received from them has been that they ran out of Argon and were going to be shipping shortly. I then got an automated message on 10/29 with a Fedex tracking number, one that has yet to be actually delivered to Fedex.

Anyone have a phone number or anything to this place? I would HIGHLY suggest holding any orders with them as they are completely unprofessional thus far.

Did you order their downpipe? I was contemplating on purchasing one to. Its either that one or giving the CNT one a try as I had good luck with it on previous vehicles. But hopefully they contact you soon about it. I may be wrong here but I thought I read something about them not being vendors here anymore cause they took forever to send out parts.

I find it worrying that the second and third results when I googled Exhaust Depot were a thread on a Dodge Charger enthusiast site complaining about their poor service and product quality, followed by the Better Business Bureau's page on them (where they rate an F).

I read where they said their server was hacked last month - but I also found this:

Exhaust Depot
2400 West 78th Street Hialeah, FL 33016-2762
We have downsized and now only do online sales. If you need to speak to some one please email us your number and we will contact you.

Wow. Sorry to hear, man. Is it possible to purchase from a third party like Outmotoring (I know they don't have it... just an example)?

I contacted my CC company and have placed a complaint, we shall see where that goes.

In the mean time, I will wait until the smoke settles before ordering elsewhere. This is what I get for trying to save a few bucks .

I've had the same results trying to save a few bucks - not only was I out the cheaper amount, but I paid full price on getting what I should have ordered the first time. Live and learn!

Hahaha! I'll only take that chance if I'm saving a lot of bucks.

Bought a NM Engineering Hi Flow Intake system in CF for 400, and the NM Heat Shield for 130. With a promo code and free shipping, it was 480ish shipped.

I have the tracking info from UPS so it's on its way.

Well look what showed up after my CC company held the funds, also not a straight pipe:

The shiny parts are wear spots from the lack of packaging. And take a look at the weld quality:

I was offered a $50 refund.

That looks like my first weld in my high school welding class - but I did get better.

Wow their quality has gone down hill bad. I went to their shop in Orlando a few years back and it was a super good product. Must have got some inexperienced people welding now.

Just to add to the freaking mess, I installed the DP tonight, but guess what? The O2 sensor bung is so far from the reach of the sensor wire that I cannot even install it

I have some anti foulers, hopefully I can jerry-rig it until I have a chance to go to the muffler shop.

That's essentially what I made with a drill and 4 anti foulers, haha. I will have to take it to the shop to have it modified more permenantly.
