quik detailer?

Ok this might be a dumb question but I have been thinking about this lately. Well as you guys know my Mini Cooper has a lot of plastic trims especially in the lower bottom part of the car. Since I have seen and heard a lot of owners say that their plastic turned white because of polish and wax residue. Now I want to ask is it ok for "quik detailer" (the ones that come in Meguiar's clay bar kit) to drip on the plastic trim of the car? I ask this because I am not sure if "quik detailer" has wax components to it? I havent clayed my car since I am unsure so is that ok? Like while I am claying the car, is it ok if some quik detailer runs down the plastic trim? Sorry if this is a dumb question but I just wanna know what you guys think? Thanks for reading!

I just clayed my car yesterday and used 3 different detail sprays due to running out of each..mothers, meguires and Adams . I didn't have any issues.. Just don't do it in direct sunlight on a hot car.. You never want chemicals fully drying on your paint or plastic.

you will have some drip spots with anything you use . once done . "black wow" is amazing and will finish your detailing off to professional
quality

Quik Detailer typically has wax in it, though it's mostly gloss enhancers. Most claim to not stain plastic, but even so it's simple enough to remove with a degreaser (dish soap will do) before it dries out. Then use a finisher designed for plastic trim.

I have used Griot's Speed Shine for years and never had issues.

I ran out a few months ago and have been using Prima Hydro as my quick detailer. I believe it contains more was, based on how it wipes off, I have been spraying my towel and then wiping down the car to avoid any overspray on the plastic trim.

Really have to get another gallon of Speed Shine.
