I used to have a Chevy Aveo, it was burnt copper and my wife used to call it "the Great Pumpkin" or "the Mr Bean" car. I had it about a year and some ancient fart rammed me at a stoplight doing 70 while I was sitting still. 'Course the car was totalled.
Perhaps she did do me a favor by divorcing me ...........

My 07 MCS is named Bloo. Like Bloo fro Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I was thinking about buying it at the dealership and walked over to my wife to talk to her. She told me that she already named it. It was a done deal at that point. Bloo is perfectly fitting for it. Small, quick and full of attitude.

My 2011 was named "Click" because I had so much fun building it online (point and click). Lost that one in a wreck so have ordered a new one which I should have any day now. Because its official birthday is October 21, and because I'm supposed to be getting the MotorTober discount, I named him "Tober". He should be fun to be around.

Mine was delayed for a month coming from the factory, and *no one* could figure out where it was, not me, my MA, MINIUSA, or even the factory. While it was missing, my wife came up with "The Flying Dutchman", after the legendary ghost ship. We've called him "Dutch" ever since.

The Coupe is called Lady Tardy due to how long she took to show up at the dealer from order.

The Cooper S is called Effie. Wife named it so I have no idea where the name came from.

At first when I thought I was going to get a Pepper White Mini, I settled on Winston. Now that I own a Laser Blue S model, I decided Winston didn't fit. I wanted to choose a name from video game culture and settled on Squall. After looking my car up and down I finally settled on Navi Especially since I have a Link doll inside.

Now that's the way to buy a MINI - grinning from ear to ear!

I love the literary reference to your car's name, S2F! "Fenimore" .. that's great!

I was thinking of naming mine Capsaicin, but I can't seem to get a consensus on how to pronounce it.

I think the pronunciation is "cap-SAY-uh-sin", BTW. Definitely good for a CR car.

That's how I say it too, but I did hear one person say it a different way. I agree that's what I should go with

Be careful what you name your car. Sometimes the name comes from the personality. Sometimes the personality comes from the name.

I caution you because that is very close to the word capsize. That's not exactly a personality trait I'd like in a car.

Okay, added the name to my signature pic. I guess that makes it official, eh?
