I named my dad's Camry Camila because I hated that thing and found it ugly so felt it needed an ugly sounding name. I've had good luck with that car. I didn't name my Scion tC and had 3 years of bad luck. I've had my MINI for a month so I probably need to name it quick if I want the good luck to stay!

Even though her name sake is a man, I named her Alice. I was thinking about naming her Laurie Partridge because the grill reminds me of Susan Dey's smile but I would have had to explain it too much.

Sounds like the cats I have owned. The first one was an adult, named Thomas, a Tom Cat. The second was a kitten from the animal shelter. Her name was Alice, Allie Cat. And the third cat I actually got to name and to continue the trend her name was Tabitha, or Tabby Cat....umm, at least until I found out she was a he, then he became Tabius...oops.

I knew my car was a girl and I wanted an English name so it came to 3 choices: if I got a chili red it's name was going to be Emma (for Emma Watson), and if I got the Spice Orange it would be Pippa. I ended up with a Lovely horizon blue...so I named her Moneypenny.

Instead of the latest generation?

I'm thinking of naming mine Wylie (looks better than Wile E.) because I may or may not have killed a roadrunner with her.

Probably shouldn't name it Wylie then. Wylie Coyote never killed a road runner in any of the cartoons. Tried a lot, but no success.

I never saw a body afterwards, just heard the wings flapping against the side of the car from front bumper to rear spoiler. I'm assuming and hoping it was just the scariest experience in the bird's life.

We took delivery of our CM last week and need to name her. Anyone have an idea? We have been thinking of atsamy as in Atsa my MINI. Brown Betty has been recommended. Since the car is Light Coffee, I though of Mocha, or Snickers but not too sure on that. To make the task a bit simpler, I have attached a picture link.

As always, your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Since my 09 is chili pepper red with black top my daughter just had to call him "Habanero." I seems to fit.

I named my Chili Red 2008 Clubman S OTTO. Not sure why, but it seemed to be OTTO from the start.
Now, I have a lightning blue 2012 R57 S in production and I think I have settled on Mad Max or Blue Max. I wanted an English name for him, but Max MINI seems to fit. It will be so nice to have the two of them together in the garage.
I was hoping to sell the CUBE to help pay for it, but MINI North Scottsdale has a lousy trade in program. They would have offered $11K for the CUBE SL (9,000 miles) or $19K for my Clubman, but it only has 5,400 miles on it, always garaged, no food, no commercial car washes, no smoke, perfume or hard driving and there is NO way I would even consider that offer. Plus I never wanted to trade OTTO in. I just wanted to see what pathetic offer they gave me. It almost made me want to cancel my order and go to Tempe.

That's not Moneypenny Judi Dench is playing, that's M. She seems to have got rid of Moneypenny.

Now that you say that, you are correct, and I feel foolish.

I love that color!!!!
Too bad I live in Florida..

Great color!!!
Call it kisses....
The rims even look like the kisses to complete the theme..

I do like Snickers.. But this color is more either more Mocha or more like creamy rich milk chocolate.

Now I want a 2012 in that flavor..
