I still wave even when I am driven my Hummer H3T Alpha, which gets some weird looks until they see my MINI Logo license plate on the front bumper, then a Wave.

Received a full arm out window wave today! It's my first receipt of wave rather than returned wave. So, to whomever was in that pepper white, thanks!

When I left whole foods to walk back to my car, found an electric blue mcs had gone out of its way to pull in & parked nose to nose. No door dings for us, where we'd parked!

Got at least four waves per day in San Diego this weekend! Good waving town!!! Even for one en route in the middle of nowhere from AZ. )

Also, whoever AZ Agent86 is, thanks for humoring my non S in some spirited PHX driving. Fun times!

I wave to at least five minis a week, no return wave. So, today's wave and parking really made me smile.

Wave on!

I wave all the time, and may only get 10-15% who return the favor. Wasn't that way when I first bought my 06 MCS. Lot more waves back then.

This MINI parked next to me at a shopping center. She had just parked while I was walking back to mine. She asked about my Countryman and how much room it had; I let her look inside and invited her to Aggieland MINI Club on Facebook!

I think out of about 30 waves so far, I've only received 2 in return. Most Mini Drivers in South Orange County seem to be younger women. Maybe it looks like I'm making a pass at them (definitely not). It's does feel great when someone waves back though.

It's kinda funny, we were talking about "the MINI wave" over lunch during a club ride yesterday. Seems people have lots of different experiences with it.

My own observation is that it's primarily (gulps) "middle aged people like me" who initiate or respond, but there are exceptions. But I'll keep giving 'em out in any case...

I threw up a small wave when passing another R57 the other day - they quickly accelerated back past me and I got a full family wave! Never seen so many people stuffed in the convertible before

I wave and generally get waved back. I still get excited when I see a mini.

Whenever I see one I hope there is no traffic around and I'm ready to downshift from 6th to 3rd-4th and instantly become a race car driver. I'm even thinking of keeping my helmet in my car for lols.

I have been waving at all Mini''s I see since 2005 and I still wave at every Mini I see. I remember a guy I waved at in the Valley back in 2006, he saw me wave and he waved vigorously back at me, he turned around and chased me down to give me a SCMM club business card inviting me to join SCMM. Just a bit bizaar, but kinda cool.

Waving in Tennessee

I waited 8 years for my MINI & could not wait til I could start waving! My daughter was riding with me one day & I waved at a passing MINI & they waved back. Daughter says "who was that?" I said "I don't know" She says "well what did you wave at them for?" Me - "MINI people just wave at each other" she says "You are sooo retarded!" No, I'm thinking - just a Miniac :-) It's about 70/30 wave-backs in my neck of the woods.

Where in NJ do you live? I live in north Jersey and out of the few people I have seen in MINIs, most wave.
