Right now I'm hating that there are two checkered decals that I'm thinking about and I can't decide which to buy. One is a class checkmate inspired, the other flows more from back to front between the wheels, spanning the fender and door...
Yep
I shoved a black rubber hose where the dash meets the window and it seems to have helped that one. Now I can hear the other ones better

I also hate that it's a 2-hour round trip to the nearest dealer, which caused me to resist buying a MINI for ten years. (I finally decided that, at my age, I should probably just do it while I can!)
- B Pillar
- Lack of powered seating controls and profile memories
- MINI Wired upgrade doesn't display album art when playing from Google Play (or others, I assume)
I think other things like how close the side mirrors are to me and the feel of the brake and gas are just adjustment issues coming from my Forester.
Second the coffee cup butt fryer trick.
I have no idea what teeny cups the engineers figured would fit into the cupholders. The coffee cup I use frequently turns on the seat heater on my 2012 CM. Super annoying in not-winter
I hate my clutch! Currently on second flywheel/clutch and it really has no ability to take off and go. I hate getting stuck in stop and go traffic on an incline as the clutch starts to heat up and smell. I really miss my BMW M clutch which was awesome--never any issue. This is the ONLY reason why my next vehicle would likely see me return to BMW.
Geez, do you have a coffee cup the size of a Big Gulp? The only thing that I can figure is that your fingers hit the switch on the way down. I use double-walled stainless steel travel mugs and never have had that happen in 6 1/2 years...
Or eat and drive , for that matter.
Going to the dealer telling them it's the end links that's rattling, them telling me no and it's the third party sway bars I installed causing the rattling.
The bottom line...they were wrong, I was right and they never acknowledge they were wrong...Priceless!!

Bought my first, and so far only, MINI Nov 9, 2015. I was excited to get it and I love driving it. So far I've only had minor issues, not all have been mechanical. Bushings was the biggest issue so far, had to take it in twice to get them replaced. The first time they "couldn't get it to do it" (make the noise on bumps and right hand turns).
What do I hate about the car? Not much really.
Base stereo/speakers - though I had a loaner with the Harman-Kardon speakers with the base stereo and it didn't sound much better.
The car is a dust magnet, but it is a very dark color and I live in the desert.
Engine auto start/stop isn't perfect.
What I hate most are all the complaints about how bad MINIs are, makes my stomach curl up in knots thinking I've made a huge mistake buying a MINI. But no real problems yet, it's fun to driveline and gets good gas mileage.
