will a car wash sprayer or power washer do the trick ?!
Don't I wish. Poor surface prep and application coupled with it being left on too long keep it from peeling nicely. My weapon of choice is an eraser wheel and a cordless drill where it doesn't want to behave.
Damn man....Think at that point I'd just take them to a wheel re-furbisher for $100 bucks each they can, straighten, remove dings, strip, paint and clear coat...look like new.

Ugh, I might have that problem on the inner barrels of my wheels.
I sprayed them and the stick on weights forgetting they will eventually need re-balancing in the future. I didn't want to waste a lot of dip on the inside, and it was done before reading most of the problems on removing dip was from not applying enough coats. When it's thin there's not enough to hold it together and it just sticks or breaks apart. Not sure on the timeframe for the layers to bind, but I've also read adding more dip will give you the thicker coat needed for easy removal.

I honestly kinda like the challenge of it, and I've got the time these days...lol!

The solvent for PlasticDip is “Naptha”, which you can buy at any hardware store. The stuff is really flammable, about the same as gasoline. So, no flames around it. Mineral spirits (paint thinner) will work too. Mineral spirits is a bit safer in that respect. With any of this stuff, you need to use a good/heavy pair of “rubber” gloves as any of these will be absorbed through the skin.
Also, you could try a scratchless scrubby sponge soaked in any of the above to help loosen the stuff up.

WD-40 ? Interesting..always worked good on road tar too....will have to remember that....
Tried it today and it works well. Be cautious not to use too much or the thin spots become a greasy mess. My can was old and stopped spraying so I grabbed a new can today and will continue.
When I got a set of old used wheels for my NA Miata, the dude said they were plastidipped from 4 or 5 years ago. I used Kleen-Strip Aircraft Paint remover to get it all off, that stuff was incredibly nasty to work with.
I'm actually in the market to get the RS Watanabe wheels on my classic refinished, I think I might leave that to a professional shop given the cost of those wheels.
I don't want to strip the original finish, even though it's less than good. It's still a good base to refinish on top of.
I have a set of wheels for my e46 that have some crazy thick layers of finish on and I tried using a chemical stripper and it's been the suck. I just need to bite the bullet and get them blasted. I've refinished wheels in the past and am confident in my ability to rattle can them with good results.
finally replaced the fuel filter, which after 165,269 miles was definitely enough, and unsurprisingly was very dark. Also, the metal lock that holds everything in place was rather rusted, so previously I bought a new one.
tomorrow I’ll fill up the tank, throw a can of seafoam in, and drive some happy miles. 😁
Washed, waxed, sealed, and put back to black on the black trim. Then completely cleaned the Interior
and under the hood. All that's left is organizing the boot. I even sprayed the fabric roof. Now I'm going inside and plant my rear end on the couch.
Replaced the accellerator pedal....got a new one here in marketplace many moons ago since price was right....
Replaced the trim rings around speedo and tachometer with OEM MINI chrome trim rings from ECS Tuning.....removed parts of the dash and tach, and had to take the tach apart too. Was def worth the effort.
On my 04 R50 i converted from standard gauges to Chrono. Miles an vin match. Just need to update the ECU to post lift for oil pressure to work. All lights an indicator work perfect.
I love it.

Thanks, you and DGI have some bad *** clubby’s. Only had her since 11/30 and the wife today said she was impressed how well the car handles and how well I know how to drive it. Devil’s Triangle has some moments where she was looking at a 100 ft drop, no guard rails, as we hugging the white line.
Mods I have done, got to install my summer wheel/tires. Added a Pedal commendar.
Added a cold air intake. Chassis bones to tie it all together. Now I am broke.
