I just finished cleaning the interior of my Bayswater, and ordered a Cravenspeed Platypus plate holder for my Bond Street. Put the order for it in about 90 minutes ago with OutMotoring, and they already have emailed me that its shipped. I'm always impressed with the speed they fill orders with.

Has it been MINI-fied yet?

Not yet. I got it for the trip out to Denver/MITM, and then will send it in after that trip. Meanwhile I've found some Mini codes online so I'll play with it more tonight. I'm hoping to get oil temp in there. Are there any other must-haves I should add before then?

It was a beautiful morning and I spent a long, leisurely time washing and detailing Fergus. A little Hydro/Hydro Seal mix, Black Wow, Nero on the inside, no surface untouched. Also ordered some little tidbits - Jelly Blade, Stubby antenna, license plate frames and more microfiber for my embarrassingly large collection.

Installed BMS clutch stop, new rear brake pads and sensor. Went with EBC red stuff and Beck Arnley sensors.

I figured I did the NM SSK, why not the clutch pedal too? It reduces the clutch pedal travel for quicker shifts. Plus it was only $10 and took about 10 seconds to install.

Installed an AIR VIP2 straight intake pipe (resonator delete) to go along with the aFe flat panel air filter in the hardtop. Easy to install and gives a nice growl under load at around 3K RPM, pretty much all as reported. The AIR VIP2 tube is a little loose where it fits into the main air filter box, but it does not vibrate. This "leak" is on the unfiltered side so (IMHO) it should not cause a problem.

I drove it over eight cattle guards and 12 low-water crossings (all dry).

I haven't used one myself, but it sure sounds like a good way to put lots of extra wear on the transmission.

At 4:30 this morning I decided to install the BSH boost tap and the ram air scoop for the DDM RIS. Now that's complete. Due to clearance issues, I had to redo the setup for the braided stainless steel hoses....now there's only one :-(
Doesn't look too bad though.

Time for breakfast and then if I feel up to it, I will put on the black tape for the beltline.

Not today... but yesterday...took it in cause I have a pretty big coolant leak and check engine light was on for something O2 sensor related. Some of the things that had gotten replaced when I hit roadkill a lil while back.

Yesterday, I got Fenimore back from the body shop. His owie is mostly fixed--one trim ring didn't show up, so they will call me when it's in, and I have to wait a few weeks for the paint to cure before they put his stripes back on.

Today, I went out for breakfast with a local Porsche club. It was fun keeping up with them through the twisties!

Replaced "Sunny's" serpentine belt(accessory belt) @ 67,800 miles. Still had the original belt, time for a new one. The original belt had cracks but not really that bad. I'd hate for it to break and leave me stranded.

It was a typical MINI job, not hard but time consuming. Remove right front wheel and inner fender, loosen hood lock carrier to get access to belt tensioner.

Installed an Eibach 20mm RSB.

Subdued the rear side markers since I was back there with the wheels off.

Rotated the tires since I already had the rear wheels off.

Happy day.

Watched a how-to video, then changed my cabin air filter at 31k miles and 15 months of ownership. Still looked very clean, but the air does indeed smell "fresher" now. 5 minute job, very simple.
