Finally got the fuel sensor replaced. Nice folks at NW Mini but, I'm a little tired of hanging out there. The drive up was fun....lots of dodging to avoid idiots. I checked for a target painted on the car when I finally go there in one piece. Also got his new CROC badge put on. I like it!

Audi TT Rubber Shift Boot

Finally a shift boot matching the rest of the interior which doesn't look like a loose fitted prophylactic....

Now just have to figure out a solution for the e-brake gator. I purchased this red/black one from vendor but even garaged the black dye has turned to a shade of purple within 2 yrs

Thanks! And it was a piece of cake....

The Audi version of this rubber boot is the perfect size. Then used some Gorilla Glue to hold it in. This glue takes 24hrs to set up as it has an expanding process but holds like a rock.

It took me just over 2 mins. to remove the bar to make room for extra storage if needed.

This morning, I loaded Tackleberry up with a few guns and off to the range we went. Met some friends out there and a good time was had by all. Man, I love the smell of gunpowder in the morning.

K, so it was yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that, but helped a friend move.

More moving later this week and this weekend.

At least the dusty, dirty, hot work of cleaning and moving all the stored stuff from the barn is done....

C ya,
Dutch

Washed the exterior. Lexol-ed the seats. Put a "Mene, mene" sticker on it.

Installed "Elbow Landing Pad" from 04 S in my 08 base hatch. Took some time but seems to work fine.

Yes it is, I was looking at diffusers while posting and I just mixed up the two. I edited my post.

Thanks

I sold some original parts off of it, to help a little with the cost of my new motor. I also got to meet a NAM member from a long way away who was in the neighborhood. And he got to meet our local skunk as it walked right into the garage!

Its all good though, he got new seats and nobody got sprayed.
