Do you have stock tires and height? I like the idea of widening the stance.

That's a lot of Plastidip. Did you remove the parts or mask?

In my book, every time you change your oil (and that at about 5-6K).

I got a 4 wheel alignment done today. This was overdue after new tires and Koni FSD's.

I also painted and installed new mirror caps. I went with the GP look in Chile Red. I really like the way they turned out.

The polyurethane in the "new" motor mount is now cured enough to clean it up and get it ready.

Can't wait until it's completely cured and I can bolt it in!

C ya,

Installed the Alta end links 3 days ago and developed REALLY annoying screeching noise. Thankfully just had to tighten all connections and it disappeared. Off and running!

Today I Installed a DDM Intercooler diverter. I also used some caliper paint on the IC Boot Straps as well as cleaned out the oil from inside the IC. After that, I replaced the drivers side A-pillar trim as the old one had cracked. Things are coming together nicely.

BTW I also listed a few things in the Gen1 Marketplace.

New shoes for track event

Ok, so I sport white Mini 17" rims with Continental non runflat tires for everday use. Today I mounted 16" black Mini wheels with new Yokohama tires for a track event this weekend. I think it looks more aggressive than the white wheels.

I actually think the white looks 10x more aggressive on your car for some reason. But still great looking car

I agree, the white wheels tie the other bits of white in better.

It looks great both ways. The black rims lend a distinction that I really like

Black Wheels VS White

Don't get me wrong, I love my car with the white wheels, but the black wheels look more masculine and aggressive. I also covered the little center cap with red vinyl and then the word "MINI" in white vinyl to tie it in with the rest of the car.

I washed and clay barred my MINI. The clay bar didn't pick up anything, I guess that's good!?
