New Samco intake hose installed. Was pretty easy, had some cut some of the hose but in all took less that half an hour. Definitely improves the look of the engine bay .
Order him a couple for oil filters from Way as well as a turbo oil line heat shield (clip on type). Can't hurt. Anything to make the Mini's life longer.
Mounted a set of Craigslist 17" OZ Superleggera rims and tires with TPS sensors in 'em already last weekend. maybe next weekend I'll swap out the coolant fan (haven't had a working fan for two years now.
Oh no not poo, SA! What are you going to do? Is it something that can be modified to look better?
Yeah Kirby...a whole new Muffler which includes the rear pipe??!! Still not sure if the pipes were to small or the "sticking" out to far was the real issue. I will have to call Borla and see what they say, I'll price out the Muffler and then make a decision. I can see it easily being another $1,000 job, but I want Driving Lights worse than I want the Cool Borla Tip so I may just return the tip I bought or go ahead and order the Muffler depending on $$, either way will still to wait for install.
It's a good thing my SA let's me drop Molly off one night and pick her up the next, works out great for me!!

Installed her new a-pillar. No more wind noise Right side window regulator was replaced last Sunday as well. Next on the list: new rear emblem (on the way)
Went to the Snake above Malibu ( a couple of photographers got me so maybe it will be up tomorrow). I snapped off my right rear swaybar bracket on my Alta 22mm. Those stock screw always seemed too short to me and I guess I was right. Now I need a new bracket.
I got home from Germany last night around midnight, and opend the garage thismorning remembering how much work I have left to do before the new paint can go on.
Just installed a NM torque engine arm. Going to clean myself and take him for a spin
I put one in a month or so ago and love it. I've got an auto and can tell the difference but if you've got a manual you'll be able to tell even more I would suspect.
This morning I got my water pump recall done and the dealer swapped out my broken passenger sun visor under warranty.
The best part of the trip was that the dealer also found in my vehicle's history that the timing chain and tensioner were replaced just before I bought the car. Excellent......one less thing to worry about!
