I'll have to cross that bridge after I update the rims, the headlight and taillight rings. The rings will be relatively easy, but the rims will take some saving. The plan is a set of black 17" Enkei EDR9.

Know of any handle covers that have gotten good reviews in reliability? I would hate to lose one during a spirited drive, and I'm not sure I'm ready to take the doors apart to get to the handles for paint... LOL

Sweet! Thanks, Giggles. I'll have a look at OutMotoring for sure, and I've been looking at TireRack more than a normal person should as of late.

Obsessive Mini folks think alike....best thing I ever did was swap out the run flats. Got Conti DWS tires at same time, they are great.

I guess I'm looking at painting the "winter" rims until I can get a set for the summer.

Took a few minutes and installed my JCW strut brace. And I considered it a "little tank" before, is now even more "solid" feeling. Subtle, but it's there.

Next stop: get a bit lower...NM springs!

Nice job!!! I say do the handles and don't mess with covers. The doors aren't THAT scary to get into. :-)

I didnt do anything to my MINI because I am stuck on an army post in the middle of Germany right now. I was wandering around Munich Saturday and MINI's are everywhere! There are even rental COOPER "D's" running around. Wish I could have picked one up and tried out the diesel MINI.

Next Saturday, I'm going to check out Nurmburg, it should be a blast.

Took off the stock stripes and put some new vinyl today! Went for the single offset stripe contrasting BLACK/red front and RED/black on the back. Really brings out the red belting IMO. Loving it
Sorry for the horrid photo quality, Afghanistan ruined my real camera

Summer struck today as I drove from upstate to Long Island to sell my truck off tomorrow =(..

But 95 degrees!!!
On the highway, I SOOOOO wanted to slalom through these

Going along smoothly, nice drive on the NYS Thruway, cruising along at speed when suddenly...(ignore the insect genocide on my windshield..)

At first I was pissed for sitting in this for an hour, but saw the wreckage of a semi hitting a tour bus and realized that I have nothing to complain about, truck lost one of its fuel tanks, no sure if there was a fire or not but the bus was missing a nice chunk from its driver side rear corner, hope everyone was alright..

That traffic looks brutal.

95deg... We got snow here in CO yesterday. I can't even imagine what 95 feels like anymore.

If you are driving a MINI the lyrics from "Some Beach" by Blake Shelton should be going through your mind!!

I don't care how long it takes me to get where I'm going, as long as I'm driving the Molly car I could care less about what kind of traffic I'm in!!

More like Take a Back Road by Rodney Atkins (funny thing is, you can actually see George Strait playing on the radio, hahah)
