Got my door lock fixed today i will no longer be doomed if my key battery dies which is always a good thing.
was also talked out of getting the oem i pod adapter. it is aparently not what dreams are made of. must now decide between dice and just an aux port.
hmm, they also talked me out of replacing the dry rotted moulding on the back of the cabrio roof which is 2x$180.
Loveland Mini saved me $800 today then gave me 15% off the door actuator water, thought my dog was awsome, and washed Max (the car))

I ordered it from Amazon today so I should have it tomorrow or Monday.
I will use it with the EVO. From what I read, for it to function properly, you must have Bluetooth Voice Dialing capabilities on the phone. For me, Android 2.2 has the capability, while 2.1 did not. Just thought I would mention that. iPhones work great I read. I will let you know how it is once I get it and try it out. BestBuy and most places around here wanted $99, while Amazon wants $64, so I jumped on it. So tired of having something stuck in my ear. Of course that way, I did not hear the crappy stereo as well.

Finally got to put foot in throttle w/my new pulley!
Well...finally finished all my little up-grade and maint projects, new rotors, pads, 15% pulley and belt, rotated the tires and went out to smash bugs...my oh my it's a different car!
"Georgette" is a pure silver/black '05 MCS, such a fun car...and by the way, if you are having a mild flat spot around 3500 rpm on up from cruise a new coil pack may well be the answer. My initial drive after doing the plugs and pulley was not quite what I had hoped for, so I did a new oem coil pack as that was the only part of the system remaining original and that was the charm...for those who wonder, it was one of the packs made with the white epoxy potting compound, the car is a 10/04 build date.
the Akebono ceramic pads are nice too...much less visible dust and great pedal feel.
Out to terrify the bug population of Butte County some more!
