decided to take off the cooper S Vag Badge and came out clean, my white behind looks much cleaner and as i was doing that, one of the guys that lives in my apt complex was walking by and complimented me on the car (he's British) made me feel good

Added more Rain X washer fluid, cleaned the headlights & tail lights of accumulated salty crud. Added 75 more miles to the odometer.

Did the same to my PW MCS a few weeks ago... such a subtle change but cleans up the rear quite well! Got a thumbs up from a guy in Civic the other day.

Put in a cheapo sub/enclosure I picked up a while back. Just enough oomph to fill the car and it only set me back $80. I considered the stealthbox at $450, but that's the cost of my pulley kit, the tools and the used CAI I ordered.

Hey, what is that GPS holder you have? It looks to be in the cup holder ... does it get in the way of the shifter? I am looking for a phone holder for my manual Clubman S.

Thanks!
The gps holder was my cell phone holder from my Jeep. The brand is Bracketron. It atually works pretty good for cell phones but not for the gps because of the power cable. It does get in the way of the shifter.

Moved the gps to the speedo for now. Still not sure where my loaner gps is going to end up.

Hrm .. ok, thanks for the info. Looks like I will be going the ProClip route then (more expensive than the cup holder ones, but more convenient to see). I was looking for something that did not get in the way of the shifter.

Style and Sound

So I wish it was nice and sunny here but unfortunately its just cloudy and snowy, so please pardon the dirty car.

But I did get a chance today to finish installing my new speaker which I am quite pleased with, check it out

Minimike, my friend, let's see... a cool pen, a MINI logo'd notebook that I assume could be used as a driving log, a yellow antenna ball, a pad of stick on words for your windows, mouse pad, some cards (have to see them) in a business card holder. That's all I can think of off hand. Oh, a booklet... 101 Things about Motoring, or some such.

I got mine the other day, too. A very nice afterthought from MINI. I never got anything from all my years with GM.

The computer still needs to learn the mod, so HOPES it gets better!!!
Well I installed a BMP CAI, FOUND THE MISSING POWER!!!!!
Not all intakes are equal. I had a modified stock box and fire wall with a drop in filter. The pulley needed MORE AIR!!!!
'LIL screamer now....

Not installed yet, but ordered and waiting for the parts to cross the pond:
- Alta Cat-Back exhaust
- NM Eng Charge and Discharge pipes
- Blackout kit to finish the front
- NM Eng Torque Arm inserts
- R55 letters for the rear :-)
- LED Canbus DRLs
- Hoehn True-White fog lights

Ordered here locally and waiting for delivery:
- JCW Suede steering wheel
- JCW Suede shift boot and e-brake handle
- Sprintbooster to finally liven up gas pedal, I know, no power gains

Ordering in March, but not sure which ones:
Enkei RPF1s 17"
Tenzo R DC-6 v1 16"
Still stuck on whether I want to +1 on rims or stay with 16"

Where in Germany, Germarican? I was in Bamberg for 4 1/2 years. If it weren't for my good cushy gubment job I would consider moving back for good.
