Took delivery of Monte on Saturday. Now I can officially join the club and I am quite proud to be a member. I have received numerous complements on my color choice and I am very happy with the results.

The non-cell phone photos will follow after the sport stripes and window tinting are completed this coming week - so Monte won't be so naked.

#31?

Horizon Blue Owners Badge?

Where do you get the Horizon Blue Owners Badges? Is there one for the JCW? I'd love to display it in my signature.

I'm a newbie, having just taken delivery of my 2009 factory JCW on July 31st. And, yes, I did take advantage of the CASH for clunkers program!

MiltonMini,

I called the mini dealer and there is no specific color, just standard tint. However, I put the max tint on the front windows, which allows 35% sun and on the back windows which allows 20% sun. He said this is the most allowable by law. I love it. The car stays cool in the Texas heat.

Took delivery of 2009 HzB JCW July 31, 2009!

Greetings Everyone,
I am a very happy owner of a hardtop factory Works MINI! I just finished my first 1200 miles and am ready to drive a bit more briskly! What a great drive this little car is. I just received aftermarket rims and snow tires ready to swap out the stock summer set once the snow flies here in Maine.

Please add me to the Horizon Blue Owners Club. Where can I find the logo for my signature?

Thanks!

See post number 120 of this thread for the logo. Welcome to the ownership circle! I love my HzB JCW, cannot stop driving it. Miles climbing faster than it goes up a hill in sport mode, but bad weather is coming soon so I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to give Skylar a much deserved break. Cheers.

Hi Hi, looks like I wasn't added to the list. Anyhoo, my mini is getting on the ship tonight and will be in the US on 9/18, with delivery sometime after that.

Can I be added to the list pretty please?

Congratulations to everyone . After 10 hard months of trying to sell my 06 JCW, I finally sold it yesterday and will be picking up my new Horizon Blue/Silver JCW Clubman in a week or two as it is at an out-of-state dealer . Will let you know when I get it so I can be added to the list

My wife and I took delivery of our new 2009 JCW Clubman yesterday. It is Pure Silver over Horizon Blue with Silver hood stripes and C-panels. I will be taking photos soon, but I'm curious about the signature images. Where can you download them?

OK, add us to the list:

If you have the means, go for the upgrade! No doubt it will make an already great car even better.

Picking up my new HB/S Clubby tomorrow! It is very similar to flatlander_48's JCW.

Sorry I did not catch that you could try https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...an-owners.html or https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ollection.html and see if they have any r55 sigs or break out photo shop.

Hello everyone, I picked up my JCW Clubby (R55) yesterday! This is my first blue car and I am really loving the color . No regrets. So far I haven't installed any accessories or done any mods, but I will probably do silver sport stripes and window tint in the spring. Prior to delivery, I had the dealer install the clear bra package (mirrors, partial bonnet, bonnet scoop, front bumper) to keep this baby gleaming.

Here are some pictures:

Hi Mike - my new horizon blue MC/S should be arriving later this week. God - can't wait for it to finally arrive. My hubby has really been pushing to get the clear bra package and I see that you just had it done. What do you think? I'm just a little worried that it will be noticable and I would hate that but I do want to protect it from all those little nicks. Just appreciate your oppinion.

Thanks,

MEG

After looking back at some of this forum's post, it occurred to me that my new Cooper S does not have the chrome gas cap door as I am seeing on some of the other new cars. When I took delivery, I thought maybe MINI reverted to the JustaCooper door as a cost saving measure across the entire line, but the pictures of these recent JCW deliveries makes me think otherwise.

Factory mistake or now only present on JCWs? Thoughts?

M

Hi Meg, I love it so far (only have 560 miles though) as the trip home was long and it protected the front beautifully as I only had some dead bugs to clean off. The dealer installed the package, but I wish they had done more for my $695. They did the front bumper, bonnet scoop, the bonnet from the bumper up to the top of the scoop, and the mirrors. I wish they would have done also the headlights, A-pillars (windshield pillars) and leading edge of roof (between top of windshield and edge of sunroof). I will probably do these parts myself.

I am also going to get the MINI protection strip for the rear bumper .

Having owned 4 MINIs, the paint is very soft....beautiful but prone to chips and scratches . This is the 1st one with clear bra and I doubt I will look back from here.

I would HIGHLY recommend getting it done on the bumper, bonnet (preferably the whole section), mirrors, A-pillars, and leading edge .

I think there is an option for the non chrome gas cap so if you car was not a order its possible it could have that option.

Since I can't seem to get the files small enough to attach weekend pictures of a CLEAN Tess, please go to my Gallery to see a couple pictures. I will continue to try to get a couple shrunken to acceptable size....

In the meantime, hopefully I can get my name on the Official Horizon Blue Club list. See post #197 for some of the details.
