I would have a body shop try to match the Horizon blue. Since the color seems to change depending on the lighting it may be tough but the idea is to have the stuff on the inside be blue. I think it will look fine even if not an exact mathc since you wont be able to see the two side by side. As for the type of paint I have read other post saying vinyl paint will work for the soft door arm rest. My wife fears chiping so I dont know if I am going to do it.

Got it! That would look nice if you can keep it from flaking. I'd kind of like to get body color trim pieces to replace the silver/alloy/aluminum pieces. It looks nice as is but I think that the Horizon Blue would look really snappy. My Dad has the matching exterior/interior and it looks great.

I'm in! Picked her up

on June 17th. I love it. I had the windows tinted at the dealer and love the look. Please add me to your *elite* group. This color is by far the classiest color Mini has put on a car. It absolutely does not look like a clown car!

"Boonyboy" is at the Port

2009 MC HzB/B Leatherette-CWP-PFM-HM-HFS-MFSW-MR-ACC-Auto Trans-AST-

My Little Peeps 2006 CR/B MC will be turned in next week- I will miss her. She was my first love.

I am excited though about the new color- it looks so classy.

Anxious to see what the difference will be in the 2006 and 2009.

I guess I should post here too now that I have a HzB MCS. Having a blast so far but I haven't opened it up around here in Austin too much.

Looking at trading in my CR MC for a '10 Horizon MCS...does anybody have pics of the Hzn Blu with the tuscan beige interior?

Hmm, sorry Clayvt, I think that there might be one person on the forum that has that color combo, but I'm not certain of that. If you haven't already, you might try going through the other 5 pages of this thread and seeing if you can find anything that way.

Skimmilk, does looking for jobs qualify as fun? LOL, I'm getting to drive a Mini so of course I'm having fun! Hope to see you around Austin!

Sherramini, where are you here in Texas? I'm in the DFW area.

Also looking to join the Mini Club there......know anything about them???

I don't have a Hzb one but here is one of lighting blue it should give you a good idea of what it would look like. I was going to go with that combo till I desided to go with an S vs a leather normal cooper.

Very nice SaltNPepa, thanks for the pic. I think that will be my new combo...still a little torn on piano black or keep the brushed trim. i dont remember what the tuscan in the rear looks like...is it a bit too much with the rear seats and panels tuscan?

You can order the tuscan beige leather with the interior color carbon black according to the MINIUSA configurator........black door panels instead of beige!

I was going to go with tuscan and eng oak. I love the look of all tuscan it totaly opens up the inside of the car vs the dark inside. The oak is real wood to me Piano black gets to smuged. Here is Pb vs EO. I did not like the feel of the wood on the wheel. I have never seen a TB with BA like in the configurator.

Very nice! SaltnPepa and I seem to be in the minority with white roof & bonnet stripes. I love how cheerful the white is but I have to admit that the black adds quite a bit of panache to the Horizon Blue. And you got a JCW, have you gotten into any trouble yet?

I was really on the fence about white vs. black, but I want to get some black wheels to complete the look and I think if I had gone all white including wheels it'd look a bit weird.

I'm still breaking it in so no trouble yet. I will say it's very difficult keeping it under 4k!

Add me to the list! My horizon blue cooper just got scheduled for production so I'm hoping to see it in 4-6 weeks.

I am super excited and can't wait!
