If yours is 3492, we have it all in stock but must fill older orders first. I'm determining, this weekend, how my current inventory stacks up against pending orders and producing as necessary. Until I finish that, I can only say that I will all styles in stock with enough to fill all badge orders by end of next week.
If yours is not 3492, Please advise.

An update on my situation for anyone who cares... Ordered from MiniSwag Oct.21, 'Order status' said would ship in two to three days... e-mailed 'Swag twice, 2nd time got the response;
"...Spending the day shipping all overdue orders. You'll get an update before this evening. Thanks for your patience."
That was Nov. 18... No update that evening...
Today I got what I think was an automated e-mail saying there was an "update regarding your motorswag.com order" I click on the order status link and now that page is headed with "This order is pending review..."
I'll keep everyone posted. Incidentally, and just so there's no confusion, I received my ToddsMods order in 2 weeks...

I finally received my MotorSwag order over the Thanksgiving holiday (slightly over 3 months).
Included with the order was a coupon for a free badge with a printed expiration date of 11/15/2007. The original date was crossed out and 11/30/2007 was written in by hand... guess I won't be using the coupon...

Not to MINImize the frustration and disappointment in the delay (as I have been there), I can assure you that Jeff is doing everything he can to bring all pending orders current and make amends the best he can.
I am sure that he will "make good" on your coupon if you ask him.

Jamie,
I'm sorry that you are so angry about this purchase. I have been very behind, yes. Very behind. Others have been waiting much , much longer for their purchase . Some are more angry than you , but many are very understanding.
Yes, communication has been spotty or worse from me. I literally have over one hundred packages needing to be processed, badges assembled and shipped. I have help here but they need supervision as this is a company I built from scratch and it's difficult for others to understand the intricacies of production., even though they want to help.
I printed the UPS label and packaged your order when I said I did. for Nov. 14 delivery.
I literally have not been able to get away from work when UPS is open and there are no pick-ups for ground packages. Disney has begun a policy where we cannot use the mail room for personal shipments anymore, which was helping for awhile.
The most recent delays have been due to personal exhaustion. I am working on the TV show "Brothers & Sisters" which is my main source of income. As you may have heard, the Writers Guild has gone on strike causing major havoc in my industry.
My job that would have gone until May 08 will now end in a few days with no start up date in sight. We would have started up again in July 08, but like many shows , mine is under consideration to be postponed indefinitely ---even if the writers and producers come to an agreement.
We have been working (on the show) incredibly long days for many weeks --sometimes as long as 16 hours--to get our shows done. There have been injuries, illnesses and even 1 nervous breakdown on our crew because we are under so much stress.
Since I am the head of the lighting dept. (my boss left to go on to a movie in order to stay employed to support his family) --I am managing 4 stages, multiple shooting crews and hundreds pieces of lighting equipment, just trying to keep it together. We are now out of scripts and must shut down. on December 9.
I am going into the stages today to work on Motor Swag in the office while my rigging crew completes a last minute set.
I will get your package to UPS before Monday. It is now 3 days past your scheduled delivery date. I hope you can wait a few days longer before carrying out your threat to tarnish my already bruised business reputation. MotorSwag will be my sole source in come for the next several months and I'm hoping to have a successful holiday sales season.
Please post my reply in your thread with your tracking number, so that others may see it's progress. Or send me a link to where you have posted this message.
Thank you for your continued understanding. The good news is that I'll have nothing to do but work on MotorSwag for the foreseeable future. The Actors are set to strike in June. Should be a great 2008. Many workers in the industry will lose there homes. We trying to pull together and tough it out.
Many thanks. Hope your holiday are happy and prosperous.

I also heard you were volunteering in the efforts during the fires...
Hey Jeff,
I've been out of work for a year.... but I paid for my badge months ago... does that mean you feel bad for me? How about a discount for unemployed people?
They were ordered months ago...... I'm empathetic for you, but I have no sympathy for the situation you've put yourself in.
The order for 100 badges for the DCMM represents a whole lot of people waiting with no recourse.
Please get our order done and shipped.

Reply: No, I don't feel bad for you unless you are disabled. But since you ask, I recommend that you either get retrained for a new job or move to an area where there is work for you.

The order for 100 badges for the DCMM represents a whole lot of people waiting with no recourse.
Reply: You did not order those from me, but obviously you have chosen your own recourse to make a private order fodder for worldwide public scrutiny. The badges were ordered by your club and resold to you at a price that was set by your club. Although I only owe explanation only to Kurt and Stacey for this order, the following time line represents the DCMM custom badge order:
Sometime in August: I PM'd a hard quote to Stacey with a production time line of 10 business days from final art approval and that the process would begin when the order was paid for. I informed Stacey that print-ready art would need to be provided by the club in order to stay on that time line and to honor the super low price I quoted.
Sept. 21- Badges ordered by Stacey. I was informed that Kurt would be responsible for payment.

Need a Billing Address/phone or the Invoice. Kurts ?
Also need phone no. for UPS shipping to you.
And... to whom do I send the proof to for approval?
Last thing. There are some edits to be made in the art (for clarity purposes) because we are printing at approx 3" , [the artist]'s art contains a lot of extraneous (not visible in JPEG) lines that make things a little funky at that size. I will be removing these. Best just to let me send the sample or revised art in JPEG and not raise this issue with the "committee" as I'm sure it will delay things.
For the future, X's art is not print ready. He must convert all "strokes" to "outlines" as I am printing from a vector file on a printer that requires "trimmed" vectors. Also, all non-printing layers must be deleted. I've spent about 1.5 hours on this already, but will not charge. Should we go to clings and additional files come from [the artist] they'll have to be prepped to avoid a set-up charge. No worries, this time.
I will resend now without art info and attach invoice...
Cheers,
Jeff

Hi
I made made 2 versions:
1) White b.g. as requested. Made some tiny detail changes for appearance's sake. Not mandatory, but I like it.
2) A dark background as another option and change in glass windows. It's dark blue but I don't like the blue that came out. Should be more midnight blue and I can achieve this. Please forward your comments on receipt.
Thanks
Jeff

Looking again, it seems I can make the lines in the wings thinner, but not the building (as they are not "lines" they are "shapes.")
Will that work for you?
Meanwhile...printer's workload has increased and production is delayed. Then the badge pieces parts are complete and read on November 14, however, the cut of the circle is not all the way around and assembly is not possible without imperfections.. 1 day spent attempting to make it work...not good... sh** happens--solution?

Jeff will automatically get a copy of your e-mail to me so you will be making contact to both of us at the same time and therefore again, give yourself the greatest opportunity for a quick response.
Please forward this issue to service.motorswag@gmail.com and Jeff or I will give you instruction on how to use your coupon code.

I finally received my badges, a little over 6 weeks after the order. The coupon code worked for me to get the free badge.
To comment on the quality of the badges, they are not as good as the badges I received from KewlAutoArt.com. They seem to be stickers placed on a crudely cut circle of the magnetic material, without a lamination layer. There are a few small bubbles under the sticker material. My concern is whether they will survive wet weather. The KewlAutoArt badges are very cleanly cut, have no bubbles, and appear to have a thin clear lamination layer on top. KewlAutoArt also looks to have a slightly thicker magnetic material. And for the price, $7.50, at KewlAutoArt postage is included. No, I don't work for KewlAutoArt, just a happy customer.

This was the only information given. Jeff responded to you the same day asking for your order number and there was still no response by today. I then spent quite some time searching for your information and responded to you as below. Thank you.

Raymond.
I want to apologize for not responding sooner, but really there was no information on this e-mail. There are hundreds of e-mails with various types of information on order status, changes, and yes, even positive thank you's etc.
I researched your e-mail to find the order number and have contacted Jeff as to what the status is. I know you have been waiting and are beyond frustrated. I will get this taken care of for you.
Just please put your order number in the subject line so we can get back with you on a much quicker basis.
I will let you know or Jeff will respond with the status just as quickly as possible.

Hi.
Both Jeff and I responded to you within 24 hours with the status of your order. Unfortunately an e-mail doesn't make then ship overnight but it does help with prioritizing those that have had an undeniably substantial delay.
