Bump.

Any SS drivers do the joey mod to their car? I'm thinking about tackling it this month and want to get a good idea of the final result!

So far I see this but wish I could get a pic from further back

I haven't, and TBH, I don't really know what it is or involves, so I guess I won't be doing it either (unless I already have and didn't know it!)

the joey-mod involved taking apart the headlights and painting the insides so that they appear dark during the day.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Hmm. Yes, it looks nice, but it sounds rather time-consuming, so I guess I won't be doing it. I think right now I have a nice distribution of sparkling silver, black and chrome/silver.

And hello Gem.

If/when the Camden makes it over to the states, maybe you can snag a pair of OEM headlights with black housing? It would certainly cost you, but for someone like me, I'd look into it if the price was reasonable.

Welcome! And congratulations on picking what I believe to be MINI's most sophisticated color.

Very nice, very nice. I like it when the stripes go down the boot as well as the bonnet. My sport stripes do just that.

Are you gonna get new wheels? Its amazing how drastically they change the car's appearance (for the better). Either way, nice car; great color choice!

Nice pics! What kind of wheels are those? They kinda look like my Tenzos, but in silver, but I don't think they are. And your graphics: they almost look like tattoos!

They're actually Brig Maglines. They came off a Scion xB that our friends bought used so we're really not sure where they came from. And yes, they are slightly based on tattoos.

Hi MCwill, I haven't been on here in a while. I don't seem to get notices in my email as much anymore.

Just became a member of the Sparkling Silver Club! Picked up Whipple last week. I'm looking to do something slightly different with the bonnet stripes.

Add me to the SS club!

I've had mine since June 25th. Love it! I get nothing but complements on the color. It has black cloth interior and black bonnet stripes.

I really need to put that grill on my car, was it difficult to put on? How hard was it to re-run the driving lamps?
