Thanks! For those of you who are unsure of your color choice, I must say the car looks MUCH better with darker (ie. BLACK) wheels. Best mod I've made to the car yet.

Daphne needs stripes put back on. What do ya'll think of bronze? Would that accentuate or minimize the green?

I'm not sure how the bronze would work. It could bring out the green hue. I'd hold a test piece up to check.

 

I'll post a photo later but I'm also an '07 SS MCS owner with all sorts of factory and aftermarket accessories / performance parts added to her over the past yr. Nice to know that you all have made a good choice in your color preference

 

Since technically I didn't see this Clubman while driving my Clubman, I thought I'd narrow the search:

I was behind a SS Clubman, non-S with black sport stripes Saturday afternoon in Charlotte, NC. Came up behind it at the turn in for Carolina Pavilion. Car parked in front of Target. We were on the way to a movie so couldn't stop and admire it close up.

Anyone on here?

 

Just got our SS clubman s last night at 10;30 pm off the truck which was hauling it from long island NY.. the only dealer that could get us one in six plus weeks.. most dealers out on the west coast told us 14 to 16 weeks so we had Ny do ours.. cost 1200 dollars to ship it but it's here.. wow its a blast to drive.. no dear instructions on anything so we are reading and playing with the switches.. the radio is a tough one to figure out but we are making it...

 

OK - i just picked up my SS conv. last night and loving the color!!! seriously, anyone not sure, should rest assured, it is beautiful!!!

I actually saw an SS/B in Cork at the weekend - I was driving along and spotted one parked outside a MINI dealership and it looked good from a distance.

the only pictures that have been taken were of me sitting in the car! Not any doing the car any justice... so i have to post some this weekend when i can get at least a hour of free time! Then all the free time i have my Nugget asks me to take her for a drive, being a good mom I do!
the color is beautiful, mine is a nice shade of champagne gold!

It's funny; everyone waits and waits and we we get wound up in waiting for each others' MINIs as well as our own. When you are right at the end of the wait it's maddening, but once you start motoring; it's all worth it!!! We picked up Newton (we'd been calling him Mr. Sparkle; it seems more comfortable calling him his first name now) Saturday evening and WOW! What a rush!

Last week we saw a SS/B MINI parked on the street in the area on the edge of Soho & Greenwich Village - the only MINI we saw in Manhattan! We saw no Clubmen, no Cabrios; just one little hip and happenin' Sparkling Silver MINI looking right at home in the Big Apple.

 

I long to be in this club....I'm still waiting for the dealer dude to get back to me so I can put my down on a buildie for a SS/B MC. This is my second post...

Nice pics! I didn't notice that you were getting the convertible, so seeing the R53 key in your hand threw me at first. Turns out that the instrument cluster you have is what I have in my CR 05 MCS. I love it that way; no big speedo.

I picked mine up today!!!!! Gem you were soo right, SS/B looks fab in person, I LOVE it! So happy I went with it now, tiz soooo cool :D I'm only just back from the dealership :D
