Thank you for all the comments. I totally agree the wheels should be black just that I've not found nice black ones yet here in Sg! & that is why I'm gonna have these oem wheels sprayed black. Btw, is there a big difference btw spraying & powder coating?
I like the Mini R113 rims but I think they are overpriced. Any one has a photo of a SS w R113s?
I think I would have rather had them powder coated but I couldn't be without a car. Also I didn't want to pay to take off the tires, powder coat and wait for the tires to be rebalanced. Spraying was alot cheaper and was certainly rewarding. My wheels are holding up very well even with the harsh winter salt. Here's my post which might help you.
I agree with Will. Too bad it's a clubman! (just my particular taste) but that definitely looks badass - you should wrap the headlight rings in black vinyl
Unfortunately not intersted...but they are nice....18" are way too big for my car. I already have another set of brand new (never driven) 4 bridge spoke rims with tires and sensors from my brother in law who bought an S but got aftermarket rims installed prior to delivery....
I just have to paint them black in the spring.....although I am considering getting a different set of rims tires and selling those....I wonder what I could get for them with the OEM sensors already in them...
My mini reach milestone today. 5000 miles. after ten months though..some of you may have reach that within couple of months.i rarely drive mine..sad i know.

Congratulations! I don't really drive mine all that much either. No job = no gas money. But I still love my car, and it looks great sitting out there.

thanks.it's not that i don't have money for gas, is that my car is in a totally different city then where i live. I live and go to school in Seattle. My car is 30 miles away at my parent's house. So i only drive it mainly on the weekends or whenever there's no school..one of the reasons i don't bring my car to Seattle is the idea of paying for monthly parking.
