Thanks, guys! I had been seriously coveting other people's Minis since 2002, when someone I knew got one, haha. I waited for years to get one myself (felt like forever!), and I've never been happier!

So, last week I ordered a SS\W MCS. Standard interior, Sport package with white bonnet stripes and white wheels, and comfort access. It's my second MINI -I'm getting out of a cabrio- and the wait isn't any better or less stressful that the last order five years ago.

I intend to very quickly have the windows tinted, lower the car and add driving lights. The Sport package has xenons, but I am going to add the lights more for aesthetic reasons than anything else.

That's too far away for us. About a week after AMVIV, we'll be driving up to the Portland, OR area, so we'll be racking up the miles as it is. Maybe someday we'll get to the Dragon....

I’m on the East Coast, it’s been on the water for a few days, it shipped via the K-Line and the K-Line is a little slow to update.

Updates

Just a couple of items:
  • I'm here at AMVIV! So if you see a guy wearing a gray "Sparkling Silver Owners' Club" shirt, a green " I (heart) my MINI" shirt, a red "F=MCS" shirt, or a black/gray shirt with "MINI" in white, that just might be me.
  • Itsa- Is it here yet?
  • Mickey- I looked for one and didn't see it anywhere. You might try posting to this thread and see if someone there can help.
That is all for now. Maybe I'll see some of you here in Vegas!

Warnen-

Very nice pics! I'd have to say that our fabulous color looks great in parking garages/structures.

Minnie-

Can't wait to see the pics. I'm sure it is an incredibly awesome car.

I talked to a fellow SS owner at the In-N-Out meet/greet/eat here at AMVIV. Of course he was highly intelligent and super nice. Yay for us!

Thanks for asking. It is on USA soil and the status is "released to the carrier" it's possible I could pick it up as early as tomorrow and I should know later today if I can get it tomorrow, otherwise it will be early next week.

Have fun at AMVIV!

The tinting does make a great looking car even better.

Now, to get you into some black aftermarket wheels.....

Pics from 2 AMVIV runs...

I thought I'd post a couple pics of my car from 2 of the AMVIV runs we did today. I think my car still looks pretty good, even when it is dirty!
