Ability to browse internet on board!! :)

After looking throughout the on board computer, I can see a screen that let's you enter a web address, I entered www.google.com and scrolled to ok, however it doesn't seem to do anything?
Does my car have the ability to browse the net? Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

No, it isn't possible. The closest you can get is to mirror an iPhone screen.

Thank you for that link, just ordered an adaptor as I've only got the cable that would fit an iphone 4/ipad 2.
Do you know what the option for entering a web address is actually for?

Suggestion....
Even if you could....I would not...
Considering that security updates are rolled out on a weekly basis on a browser...... And cars...er...no so much..(and to go on the internet, the car needs a browser...so months or even years out if date)...)....IMO it is asking for trouble.....having a car who computer suddenly gets buggy...or other issues might be a HUGE issue....
The address might be there for the reason I just stated....started out as a "good idea".... Then some thinking went into it.....so it was either removed or not fully added.

Probably to connect to a server (e.g. a database, not a website). What screens did you go through to get to it? Its function can probably be deduced.
