Just picked up my 2012 JCW clubbie!!!

So much fun! I will have pics posted later this week. I am having a friend who shoots photos much better than I can come over and take some pics of her. I need to get tinted as well. I got eclipse grey and I love it!

On a side note, the included JCW body kit is definitely different than the older add-on kit. The side skirts are very different.

As of right now, headed out on a drive, have fun all!

Congrats! Wow JCW Clubman! did you get the suspension kit too or how does it feel compare to an S. If I were you I would take the day off and drive the car all day. Welcome to the Clubman Clubbie.

Congrats! Can't wait for the pictures!

So a question for anyone that happens to see this...

I just took my car for a ride, not too far, maybe like 10 miles. And when I parked it in my garage, I heard the fan come on. That's fine and it turned off fairly quick. But then I heard this weird constant faint "electronic-sounding hiss" coming from the engine. What is it?

That should just be the aux water pump and nothing to be concerned about.

Cabin air system priming, fuel system priming, aux water pump for the turbo, take your pick... These cars make so much noise after you get out it's crazy. Our local club had a rally this weekend that ended in a parking garage where we all parked together. About 25 MINIs parked at the same time and when we all got out of our cars it was insanely loud from all the noise these cars make after you turn them off. And the air temperature went up about 10 degrees...

I also can't wait to see it. The old style skirts (painted flared non-vent) are starting to grow on me - kind of ties the original ~1960 ver to today, for me at least. A major dealer on the east coast is looking to see what is going on with the mix match of kits from the factory because my local dealer can't figure it out.

Looking forward to seeing your clubbie. Congrats on receiving both of your cars within a week of each other. Mine is still in the paint shop. Hopefully I'll get to pick her up next week when I'm back from SJ

Best of luck!
