Are the side skirts and front aero bumper lower to the ground than the standard?

 

Yes. The Aero kit is a little lower than the non-kitted cars.

 

Are there any photos of a Clubman with the new Aero kit that is coming installled?

 

I think the only difference is the side skirts, and to be honest, I don't like them. I love the front, the rear has always been kind of "meh" for me (looks like they left parts off of it) but I always liked the skirts. These new ones...not so much.

 

At least two to the states with this side skirt as part of the the new JCW Aero Kit "Included" on the Clubman JCW.

 

So it looks like the clubman's side skirt in the included aero kit is the standard side skirt painted, rather than the jcw aero side skirt.

I wonder why they chose to omit it. It's not like they had to create a new part, it's something that currently exists!

 

I'm not exactly sure why it came that way. Either the factory had extra of this style -or- my MA clicked something incorrectly on his build computer. A recent Clubman JCW for a Europe owner came with the JCW Aero side skirt (with port hole).

 

My JCW Clubman will be done being built tomorrow.. so I will see what mine looks like when it gets here next month!

 

Nice. How long did it stay on order? My JCW Hardtop has been on order for over a week now.

 

I got lucky. Was only on order for a week or so before it went into Production. I was told by my dealer that i was slated for week 20 but somehow it started in week 18.

 

It depends on the build week slot your dealer has.

 

Has your MA provided any insight as to which version of the Aero Kit is expected on yours? Do you have a preference to which version you get? Hope it works out for you and please post pictures.

 

My clubman JCW has been on order for about 3 weeks =( MA says next week should move into production.

 

All my ordering was done via e-mail and phone call so it never came up between us. I knew that the Aero kit was now standard because of NAM.

I don't know which I would prefer.. I suppose the full "real" Aero kit would be best but if this is what is standard now then I'll get used to it.

Any updates as to when you expect your Clubman JCWs to arrive? Have your MAs received any info on what Aero kit pieces may be mix matched?

 

My clubman will hit US shores on the first and then I should receive it 2-3 days later. My MA doesn't know crap lol, I tried to talk to him about some of the finer details and received a blank stare...I will probably be taking my mini elsewhere to be serviced.

 

Mine sat at the port for 10 days.. so mine won't be coming till about mid-June at this point.

My MA didn't know anything beyond that the Aero kit was now included. I'll post photos once it arrives.
