Not a WC50 but I did buy these stripes and here they are on my non-WC50 JCW. I like the subdued look but didn't realize that the stripes were Pepper White so I had to outline them in red since the stripe is the same color as my car - it matches exactly. Otherwise, you wouldn't actually see the stripe.

Thanks again JackMac!

Hello All

I was the lucky one to find 425 for sale in time to purchase it from a great seller. Took some time and trust as I did it mostly over the phone or email but lucky for me he was very honest and took great care of this gem. 600+ mile drive home without a hiccup. Love this car. Only sad moment was when I had to move my r53 to the driveway to make room. Thanks Jackmac for the clear bra and JCW suspension - what a difference from the others I've seen.

BTW - 426 is for sale in northern NJ. I test drove that one first - ran great but I wanted something with fewer miles which 425 had. Was worth the extra effort to grab it.

Hello Fonso86 ,

Nice to see a WC50 down in Columbia , wow that must have been pricey down there compared to other cars.

Here is the service bulletin: Does this sound like the same vibration problem ? Show your dealer this page. Might help.

Thanks and hope that helps.

On the suspension and the poor roads. Do you have the factory runflats ( RF) ? If you do swapping to non runflats tires will help. Other then that since you have to run 17" wheels or higher. It will make it hard to keep it soft, tire will make a difference in the ride.

I would also get the our ECS Strut Tower Plates for the R56+, this helps with the Strut Tower in poor road condition and helps prevent mushrooming.

Wow, my a/c compressor is just as noisy! Awesome to hear there's a fix, and amusing that it's such a simple, tacked-on haha, solution. Time to see if the factory will cover it out of warranty...

And Fonso, good luck with those roads and that suspension - you should ditch the run flats anyway, for grip and ride quality, and either those strut plates or a strut tower brace should help prevent the dreaded mushrooming on really bad roads...

You are welcome. Service bulletin also marked above for reference. Encase your somehow under warranty.

"usually have to pay an extra 40% on top of USA prices"

Wow that is high.

My goal is to try and keep mine as stock as possible but has anyone done any good bolt on bolt off mods like a GP2 diffuser? Thinking of giving it a shot but nothing else really. Maybe yellow fogs too but that's it. I swear. Thoughts? Pics?

It's hard to resist the temptation to modify and personalize a MINI. I've owned several limited editions, and that was always a challenge.

To me, the WC50 is the already the complete package. As long as the mods are simple and easily reversible then go for it.

Thanks for the pic lex! Looks great.

Yeah Jack I agree. This thing is just about perfect as it is. If I do anything at all it will likely just be that diffuser. I love the look of it. My thought is that's one of those things u mentioned that could easily be removed and doesn't really take away from the original intent of the car.

On another note, went on a run last night through NYC and a bunch of the regulars from our local club saw it for the first time. Several were unfamiliar with its significance. They loved it before but once I explained what a wc50 is they couldn't stop asking about it. People wanting to sit in in. Take pics. It's so great.
I guess the same type of reaction I had the first few times I saw a GP2 in person.

The rear diffuser is here if you decide to get it. Or the other aero underbody add ons.

The WC50 has that nice Carbon fiber piece that would come off.

I really like the WC50 overall. Nice MINI.

Interior question - the literature from BMW announcing that the U.S. would be getting 50 cars mentions that part of the kit is red stitching on the floor mats, to match the shift boot. Mine's got plain black floor mats - can anybody confirm if any U.S.-spec cars came with red stitching floor mats, or are they all black?
